If not then it is not a fair analysis BUT if yes then Apple is purely cruel on it's customers. (don't need to include the promotion/media costs)

The iPhone 6 costs Apple between $US200 and $US247 to build, giving the company a profit margin of 69 per cent for the entry-level model sold in the US, according to a teardown analysis.
The teardown, executed by research firm IHS and shared with Re/code, is based on an analysis of the parts used in each model and an estimate of the labour involved ($US4 to $US4.50 for each device.)
IHS found the costs range from $US200 ($225) to $US247 ($278) for iPhone 6 models that sell in the US for $US649 and $US849 without a contract. The more expensive models sport 128 GB of storage space, netting Apple a slightly higher margin.
Considering the prices of the phones in Australia, Apple stands to earn even higher profits here. Taking the cheapest iPhone 6 costing $869 and factoring in IHS's manufacturing cost of $225, it points to a 74.1 per cent profit margin - or a 286 per cent mark-up.
Costs for the iPhone 6 Plus run from $US216 ($243) to $US263 ($296) for models that sell for $US749 and $US949 without a contract. The model would earn Apple a profit margin of 76.7 per cent in Australia on the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus - or a 329 per cent mark-up.
The analysis doesn't take into account other costs involved, including advertising, marketing and distribution.
As Re/code reports, Apple has improved its profit margin for its phones. While the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5S both provided the same margin of around 69 per cent int he US, the first iPhone in 2007 gave Apple a 55 per cent margin.
The combined display and touchscreen take up much of the material cost. The iPhone 6's screen costs Apple $US45 and the iPhone 6 Plus' screen costs $US52.50, the analysis shows.
In April, IHS reported that a Samsung Galaxy S5 with 32GB costs the company $US251.52 ($283). That phone sells for $US599 and in Australia for $849 giving Samsung a margin of around 58 per cent, and 67.4 per cent respectively. The Moto X costs $US226.
While a margin of 69 per cent is very healthy, a pair of $US300 Beats headphones from Apple cost anywhere from $US14 to $US40 to produce, generating a margin ranging from 87 per cent to 95 per cent for the company.
