Anonymous, 09 Sep 2014And can you tell us what the 1gb can not handle?with 1 gb ram, you can run only like 5 apps at once. on android with 2 or 3 gb ram you can run every app on your phone and go back to them an hour later and be right where you left it.
Would someone pls tell me the WIDTH, in inches, of the iPhone 6. I don't really understand the specs. Thanks.
Ankur, 09 Sep 2014Apple 2 core is much faster then any andriod phone..1 gb ram is enough for apple cause apps ba... moreactually. android doesnt lag? ever since android 4.1 android doesnt actually have lag. yes if you have no money and buy a cheap phone, duh it will lag. but if you compare even 2 year old andoids like galaxy s3, or htc one x, they DO NOT LAG
Pff, all plastic.. while other brands go for metal..., no more premium feeling , all major brands will exploit this and will go out will metal phones asap
I have been watching all the rummors and leaks of iPhone 6 for a few past months, and even on a highest spec rummors i was realized what can I expect from a new phone from Apple. Even these highest specs were in no comparation with any high-end 2014 Android phone. I asume that most people here was also reading about these rummors and leaks. So... why are you all so suprised with "low specs" ? Apple consumers bigest problem so far was small screen, so they improved that with two models. And offcourse the battery, which they also improved... slightly. Im seeing comments like Galaxy S3 vs. iPhone 6.. LOL... I could talk and talk about how different iOS and Android are, and about iPhone much better cunsuption of resourses than Android, and how you cant compared them in that way... but instead of that, please use google. People buy iPhone for a reason. iPhone has and will have their own market because of their premium pedigree, in which Android phones menaged to be comparable only now in 2014. Lack of premium pedigree Android phones over the years compensate with specs that are basicly becoming advertising tricks. Apple is Apple, dont expect them to be like an Android phone because is not.
8 mpix camera, really small battery, 1 GB RAM. This is like 2012 specs. wTF?
AnonD-304678, 09 Sep 2014i have been waiting for iphone6 from last year and i see some pros and cons but most likely co... moreI Ike it....what's the big deal. If don't want to buy it the don't. My iphone5s is worth more than any android on the market.
Was expecting alot from iphone 6 but didn't find much Just for bigger screen why should i buy iphone 6?
How is this phone even relevant?? Wow with its 400ppi screen and dual core processor?? The Sony xperia Z1 pixel density is around 430ppi and runs a average 2Ghz quad-core processor and you get a decent 20+ mega pixel camera.. Then the Z2 came out 7months later which was even better.. And now the Z3 is coming out soon which is even better.. Not only better but Sony actually listened to peoples opinions and made the phone lighter and thinner than before. Not to mention its compatible with every single Sony product. Im just saying.. IPhone has been on the market for a very long time.. Sony have just started and already they can hold up with what Samsung,HTC,Lg and apple have put out.. In my opinion iPhone just doesn't cut it anymore.. Its just selling because its a apple product. Thumbs down
Ethan, 09 Sep 2014You haven't got the slightest clue about technology. Companies like Samsung just add in that e... moreI believe you are the one not familiar with technology mate. Adding more ram is definately going to improve performance, it is no "gimmick". What planet do you live on. What do you think stores process information when you have 2 or more apps running at the same time???? Of course in MEMORY lol Phones are similar to computers bro. I can give you a beginners lesson on the processors and memory, and how they work together if you like lol Even local storage on your device plays a part in performance. "IT Systems Engineer"
For everybody talking about outdated specs, lots of phones are better on paper (everybody knows that now) but in the real world the iPhone is always a pleasure to use. However in fairness i think it's difficult to justify the cost now though with so many other options around. Windows phone is much better now since the 8.1 update, the new lumias are going to be fantastic value, especially the 830.
Great spec but don't like the design, looks more like a traditional Samsung Galaxy. Where went the iPhone design that feels and looks unique, standing out like a master piece.
I'm a hardcore apple fan, believe me. But I'm pretty disappointed with this. 8 MP camera, really??? 1 GB of RAM means that I cannot hold more than a couple of Safari tabs.
I am probably gonna get this phone, but that is just because I am so heavily invested in iOS.
