The fact that this phone doesn't record in 2160p is not a deal breaker.....
chap1, 24 Nov 2017will someone, please, explain me how does iphone performe after two or 3 years? Some says-great,i... moreI bought this phone at launch and I came here to compare some specs.
When the phone first came out it was the first of the size and had a few issues with the operating system (like some are experiencing with the iPhone X not being optimised).
Immediately theyÂ’re impressive (my previous phone was a iPhone 4) then after a week you notice some issues that stop it being as smooth as some functions.
Most of those are fixed in 3-4 months and improved again after 12 months.
For me 6 months to 18 months of age is the sweet spot where itÂ’s been out and optimised and running well. Just before the release of a new iOS when things slow down and get a little buggy (assuming the iOS is primarily designed around the newer phones hardware).
IÂ’ve been happy with my phone as I was purposely avoiding the current IOS (11) knowing that things will start going downhill as soon as I upgrade.
This particular phones lack of ram is now really obvious as it struggles to keep its place while switching between apps, animations are frustrating as you need to wait for the phone to catch up.
Overall my current phone (iPhone 6 Plus) is ~3 YearÂ’s and 2 months old, itÂ’s suitable for someone that uses a small amount of apps and finished the task they start. Roughly 18 months of life left.
For someone that barely uses apps and wants basic gps/messaging/phone and occasional google search. Roughly 2-4 YearÂ’s of life left.
For someone like myself someone that would normally fact check dates and some information as IÂ’m typing this itÂ’s now becoming frustrating as I know I wouldÂ’ve had to copy this to save it as the page would refresh if I left it, apps are becoming noticeably slower and waiting for animations or the keyboard to catch up with my typing this phone is at the end of its life.
Obviously financial position changes the above slightly, I care about my function more than what people think of my phone while I can afford a new phone each year I donÂ’t see the point. IÂ’m currently searching to compare razors new phone, pixel 2 XL, and the iPhone X.
IÂ’m currently wishing I was searching next year after razor has learnt some lessons from its first phone or for a iPhone Pro Plus (what I suspect will be next years larger iPhone X) because I feel like IÂ’ll be upgrading again next year.

will someone, please, explain me how does iphone performe after two or 3 years? Some says-great,its fluid and fast like it was at the start, but some say-no,its not even close as fluid and fast like it was at the begining. Im sure that is fast and fluid at first year, but what happens after 2 or 3 years, even 4 yers-because iphone gets updates in 4 years.
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2017€ 500 2017 androids still slower than 2 years old € 280 iPhone SE while getting less updates? LmaoNope. All I know is iphone X is slower than all android flagships and ios11 is full of bugs and its functionality is same as android kitkat.
