Hi guys...today is my Apple day and am about to take a loop from Galaxy S5 (which has awesome apps and all) but seriously, do I need that many apps? No! Ive had iPhone 4s since it came out 'till May this year when it was stollen (now, let's not go into tracking issue, I know who has it and end of it, not worth the trouble). So, my friend who is 'into' told me all fine with 6+ except the size. I wasn't lazy and did comparison to S5, yep it's a bit bigger but I really don't mind. The main issue I really could not adapt is Android and S5 buttons. They are just so not user friendly. It goes On on it's will even after I bought a 'hardcore' cover. Even when I reduced the touch sensitivity, lock it, it still (somehow creepy) it starts! I dont like the layout of the screen (in all versions), takes me forever to find something I need by slipping screens. Summing it up: I am not an Android type. Im a woman, I don't carry the phone in my pocket (God bless big bags) so I'm not worried about bending or cracking. My main question is the memory. I've opted for 16GB. I use phone for FB, Messenger, Viber, Skype, pics/videos and GPS. That's it. Will it suffice or should I go for 64? Also, Im a Windows lap user; when I had 4s, it had the app and all was well but now I'm troubled with syncs after I've read all your posts.
Thanks for the advices in advance :)
(...all this is after I tried Nokia 1020 (yes, makes excellent pics but I have a camera + it spent most of the time in 'service' and, as I said Galaxy S5... really can't wait to finally go back to iOS!!!)
PS: I've read a lot of complaints about it price. In my opinion, ok, it is NOT that much expensive vs. Galaxy S5, but the 'price drop' for any android or iOs is uncomperable. There was a point (after my 4s was stollen) where I was looking all over to find a new' or used... nothing!!! So, on the other hand, I see it as an investment. My Galaxy s5 now 'goes' for 1/4 of its original price while iPhones keep it steady for years. Correct me me if Im wrong...
Lot of people will say that im lying but im not, i was so obsessed with the cell phones that i wasted hell amount of money , changing phones almiost every 10 to 15 days max by wasting my hard earned money anyways i ve used all sony flagships htc flagships samsung galaxies accept Note 4 , now its been almost a month since i bought iphone 6 plus and now im happy that once and for all I really dont want to change my phone bcoz no other phone is woth it theres not even a comparison, and finally i would say with apologies to people who use android that its just a crap as compare to iphone... Ithanx
RollingEyes, 16 Mar 2015When will iPhone launch dual SIM advanced phone?
No? They won't ?
aahhhPeople using dual sim can afford iPhones?
Most use dual sim to save cost. Most likely unable to afford any Android flagships or iPhones.
When will iPhone launch dual SIM advanced phone?
No? They won't ?
CrisFort90, 15 Mar 2015Why it's still DualCore??? WTF!!It got quad core gpu!
And A8x got octa core gpu!!
But Apple find its not important to tell you. Because normal customers are not dumb, they are not convinced by paper specs.. they will read up on specs here, then go down to Apple stores to test the devices out. They will only buy if its really smooth and fast! And look at the sales of iPhone despite its price.. it proof its very worth the money!
Who cares if dual core / octa core / peta core / 1000 cores? Whats important is it runs all your fav apps fast and smooth.
It is a really good big screen phone. I was going to get an ipad and use a 5C. I ended up getting the plus and gave my 5C to my Dad. It is the best of both worlds. If I need a smaller screen phone I can just use my old iphone 4. The battery last all day with heavy use. I usually end up at 40% at the end of day. I use to buy all kinds of Galaxies but I like the simplicity of the iphone. If I ever get tired of the Iphone would probably get a Note 5 as my next handset.
CrisFort90, 15 Mar 2015Why it's still DualCore??? WTF!!One word buddy, optimization. The iOS dual core performs better than Samsung's quad-core because of software/hardware optimization
CrisFort90, 15 Mar 2015Why it's still DualCore??? WTF!!Apple have noticed you get better performance with dual core? Which is clearly true if you compare it to those huge specs android phones, iPhone performance is better, because how often you need more than dual core? You cant do anything that heavy with your phone where you would need lot of cores.
danny bekerejian , 06 Mar 2015at the end everybody has his or her opinion about any phone
the iphone has a good hardware d... moreOnly God should help you my dear.........
All your doubts clarifies when :::::
1.) you start using an apple iPhone
2.( you stop comparing apple iPhone with other phones
Mini, 10 Mar 2015iphone 6 plus or iPhone 6 , help I can't decide 6+ with 64gb gold color
ReMo, 06 Mar 2015Apple Fans Facts.. If Apple Reduce their prices on iPhone, surely apple gonna dominate the... morejust because of their price, huamn called it " premium". if apple reduce the price, iphone will become cheapcake. no way, apple will never ever do that.
There are some horrible comments here. If you are a tech noob and want to compare specifications then this review won't assist you. No shame if you are, power to those who feel they can decipher performance differences between handsets on a micro level.
This comment is designed to do one thing...reassure anyone who is freaking the heck out about the size of the 6 plus.
The first day that I got this thing, I hated it. I thought I had made a huge mistake. My mate nicknamed it a range of things including the hubble, the plasma, and imax.
It's not that bad.
It's a wee bit bigger than a samsung. Does it match up? Who gives a crap...if you are an iphone user and don't want to go through the rigmarole of swapping over, then this is an excellent option.
Is it big? Hell yes, its huge! Does it fit in your pocket...yes. Will you get used to it...yes (in about 2 days the general consensus suggests). Does the battery last longer than 3 seconds? Blissfully...yes.
Despite all of the misgivings you may have, you WILL get used to the size of the six plus, and then you will wonder how you ever coped without it.
After update my ios 8.1 to 8.2.. After 5 days i observe deeply, Several problems occur:
1) wechat not functioning properly.. Finger tapping is not working or responding. Have to exit and relaunch again!
besides, it is a bit laggy now After update.
2) control center won't appear even slide up several times!! Have to use soft assistive button to pop up control centre!!
3) keyboard terrible laggy! typing is not as smooth and speeds as 8.1! besides, predictive and auto correction is now 40% less accurate compare to 8.1!!
4) overheating a bit.. after update to 8.2, my 6plus always getting warm/started to heat compared when i used 8.1.. it is way better and no heating problem.
5) my 6 plus getting laggy when i browse my photos! When i scroll, it's like stuck.. Even my memory available 2.3GB..
6) music "SOMETIMES" cannot be played from control center.. even after tap the play button several times. Have to browse again and play from Music itself!!
7) screen orientation or rotation now 30% less accurate! Won't rotate when using wechat! And bugs when try to rotate on youtube! Have to rotate my 6plus 360degree to really make it orientated and rotate!
8) even with a lot of memory space left, my 6plus now seems laggy compared even with 0bytes on 8.1, it running smooth!!
basically my 6plus run smooth without problems when i used ios 8.1.. Now 8.2 is just a headache!! Terrible laggy and bugs..
Megh, 14 Mar 2015not so user friendly and comfortable like samsung's phones. now i realise that i did mistake b... moreU can fool anyone with ur samsung theory but not me..ive experienced enough with samsung's phone..and all i can tell u is touchwiz is laggy as hell after u use it for some times..and gaming experience is never the same between iphone and samsung..its much smoother/better on iphone..mybe if ure saying HTC is better than iphone it might be possible..coz for now the only android phone that can compete with iphone is HTC One..
Megh, 14 Mar 2015not so user friendly and comfortable like samsung's phones. now i realise that i did mistake b... moreSamsung employee ???? Yea? Who there'll buys a phone without trying. Nice spam attempt.
not so user friendly and comfortable like samsung's phones. now i realise that i did mistake by buying this phone. it was better to opt for note 4.....i dont know why in ios, everything is on opposite side/direction when compared to android phones without considering the comfortability of the users. ios is totally anti-android.....its a good phone only to show its logo to others.....
