Had HTC and Samsung for years (stil... moreInteresting, because I stopped using the iphones (specifically, the 4s after having 3gs and original model iphone) because of iOS quality issues. Updates which were causing wifi connectivity issues, not being able to disconnect or pick up calls, requiring rebooting the phone.
Also, after iOS 8, the 4s became so slow it was a real disappointment and frustrating. I never updated it to 9 but from what I've read, it's just made the 4s and 5 models that much slower.
I have yet to have a single problem with my Xperia Z or LG G3 phones and got to keep more cash in my pocket as well. :D

There was a point where iphones would win nearly every performance test. That is no longer the case. Besides the single core test and a few of the on-screen tests, iphone loses all the tests. Go check the latest gsmarena performance comparisons for yourself.
The only true statement is that comment iphone performance has improved.
The problem for Apple is that other phones performance has improved much, much more and you don't have to pay a silly premium for other phones that are able to match the iphone for performance and surpasses iphone on features.
If you want value for your money, choose some other phone. If you need the status symbol or a locked down OS because you tend to do things with electronics that you shouldn't do (like deleting app folders) then get an iphone.

I will not be getting another iPhone. The keyboard is a disaster. Why do I have to change screens for the @ symbol or a comma? Do I have to get finger reduction to type without errors? Where are italics, bold and underlining?

People sometimes do stupid things. By locking down iOS, Apple reduces the number of stupid things iphone users can do.

In a 1994 law passed by Congress, "Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA)", they can't force phone manufacturers to put any backdoors into the phones and can not require any specific design of equipment, facilities, services, features or system configurations (section 1002).

Yes, you can transfer files from - android and/or windows powered device - to the iphone.
It's intuitive also you can transfer files or accept files from iphone to pc(windows) and viceversa.

You know you don't have to use 4k... I have 64gb model and im not using 4k, mostly its just waste of space.
