you guys have these phones as secondary devices i have them as primary devices with no secondary device. i can see why people would have secondary phones, like if one phone dies and you REALLY need to contact someone, or if one breaks and you need to use the other one so you can get a replacement.

my first iPhone 6s lasted me 3 years, which is brilliant on Apple's standard, and would've lasted much longer if it wasn't criminally damaged in an assault case. When I upgraded I just got the exact same phone again, and it's lasted 2 years with only slightly worse battery life and it's obtained a hairline crack
loved this phone, it's done me well for 5 years but I just need something new now, battery life and camera quality are what im after, the main reason I haven't progressed to any newer apple phone is the removal of the headphone jack, my sound cancelling headphones are worth more than most phones and I'd like to keep using them with my phone

To side with Apple for a bit, it's amazing how after 5 years they're still updating 6s, they've always offered updates for old devices meanwhile you're lucky to have 1 year of official support for most of Android devices, let alone 2.

My advice: Never buy a clone; they may look and feel like the real thing, but you will never get the experience, quality and performance of an original compared to knock-offs.

But consumer complaints and lawsuits against Apple has forced them to back off of these measures. However, you will eventually need to upgrade your iPhone to a 7 or newer since these have at least 3GB RAM and apps on the App Store will eventually notify you that your device requires iOS(X) to run.

heck this phone will be worth even in 2021, for £100 you can get a fricking good phone better than some budget huawei/xiaomi phone(s) and get a 2200mah battery for it and it will most likley get ios 14

Still perfectly usable in 2020. It's not the latest flagship with the best camera and whatnot, but it does simple tasks such as browsing, messaging, taking fairly good to great photos perfectly. The only issues are battery drain but official one at an Apple store costs $50, and what is causing the battery drain, which is usually the latest iOS, master reset has never been done, bloatware or various apps and radio (wifi, bluetooth) running in background.

Ok, it is outdated compared with the latest flagships. But it does the job very well, it is fast, unbreakable on the back, it is lighter and more practical from the latest iphones , it shoot very nice pics, it has very good auto white balance and it’s whites are whites, not yellowish like every next iphone ever made, and this is very very important if you take pics for hobby. And finally it has lcd screen which is a big advantage because it does not flicker like all the oled displays
