Feodor, 13 Sep 2015why they didn't mention the CPU ???!!!!They did in the keynote. The only difference is they focus on things that matters like results and hands on. They do not need to baffle people with cores and ghz gimmicks or ram rofl.

Apple have added a extra 1gb ram but have put a lower clock speed cpu in the 6s. I don't appreciate the 3d touch feature to me it's more a hindrance because it just makes it easier for me to make another accident press if I hold to long when browsing Web etc. I'm not liking the 6s bezels at top and bottom- super big. I don't like the white antena seap strips on the top of the back of phone, makes the iPhone look like a kids phone.
Apple uses custom core technology to power iPhones ,,, cores arranged in such manner that they generate maximum power to load ratio.
I own both the i6 and the gs6edge and i use both of them as my daily driver. One for work and the other as a personal phone. I like how samsung lets you clear cached files which iphone does not let you do it. I also dont like how apple does not let you clear the "diagnostic" (I'm very anal if an app crashes i restore my phone) manually and requires you to sync it to itunes. Also the "OTHER" tab on my itunes is 5gb and if i clear it my music stoppes working and app crashes. I'm not a samsung or a android fanboy. I collect apple phone i own all generations of iphone from time to time i like putting my simcard on the first gen iphone and surprise people that its in mint condition. I like both platforms ios and android thats why i carry both of them around with me. I'm adding this one to my collection iphone 6s rose gold.
AnonD-1825, 13 Sep 2015IPhone 6s have the most powerful chip in the smartphones ever made, it's going to be super fast.Yeah as far what Apple is saying, we will have to wait for the review to see the benchmarks scores but i bet the new chip will do very well

Not all Android phones are bad; the Note series, HTC phones and Samsung S6 family of late have turned out to be real good. But I would still say iOS remains stable and usable over a longer period of time. And latest iOS builds work much better on old iPhones as opposed to latest Android versions working on older hardware.

Sil3n7, 13 Sep 2015I use a android device.. But truly iOS rocks..Android is a good alternative for people who can't afford an iPhone...but if they have lot of money better get an iPhone instead of ANDROID flagship!

I have intentionally co... moreI have used Nokia running Symbian during my undergrad, Galaxy s2 running gingerbread when I got employed at my first job and got my hands on iPhone 6 running iOS 8 finally, during my Masters. I never recollect having a frozen screen nor sluggish performance in gaming / normal tasks on the iPhone. However my Galaxy s2 was good only for 1 year after which it just started to freeze, become irresponsive. Sometimes the freezes are annoying especially when it happens while dialing a number - I also hard reset my galaxy s2 by erasing everything and return to factory setting, this helps for a week then the freeze issue props back up. My Android experience was horrible when compared to my iOS experience. I had the iPhone 6 since December 2014 and am going to upgrade to iPhone 6s. Simply put - Apple equals quality, efficiency with minimal hardware, highly regulated and safe AppStore, BUT premium price and highly proprietary software with no source code access - Android equals budget price, more bang for money, high end hardware, almost 2 generations of hardware cycles ahead of iPhone, open source code BUT very inefficient use of hardware, many times bloatware included, not well regulated play store, sometimes malware present on Google play store apps
The iPhone 6s looks great, specs seems minimal and not up to par with other android phones but with such intuitive and simple software, the iPhone 6s doesn't require that much power for multitasking and playing games. The 16Gb offering is a let down,32gb should have been the norm. The camera pixel bump is a welcoming upgrade that the iPhone sorely needed and the ram boost is well appreciated. So far, its a good phone and decent upgrade from the iphone 6.
