I think the screen in iPhone 8 plus is larger than the X thou. Additionally, the horizontal position of the camera looks weird to me. :)
I just hope that the next iPad Pro isn't copying the design of the X >

In your case I would suggest to get first of all a brand new device, no matter the brand or the model, because you want to keep the device for 3 years as you already posted below. For that reason also I recommend a newer iPhone, 7 at least.

Been using my 6s for 2 years and lately it started to getting lags. Maybe because of the iOS update....
But I’m upgrading to iPhone 8 plus soon! :)

Proud owner, 15 Nov 2017What about ur battery life compared to iOS 10.3.3It’s fine, no problem. It performs the same as before, although now I’ve switch on notifications for emails and location services, so we can say that it’s slightly, a hint better. Also i have the device almost 2 years ( Dic 2015).

I am about to buy this iPhone second hand and I have a following question - how is it held up for 2 years of usage? Didnt something break or stop working like buttons, touch ID etc.
