i have an iphone 5s and i have been thinking about to change to iphone 7, i want to know if it worth to change ???
AnonD-560564, 24 Apr 2017No it will be slow because of high resolution. No it will be faster because the power cores themselves are more than twice as big as a little mongoose or kryo core which leads to more than twice the performance. And: iPhone 7 Plus has the same chipset and runs a 1080p display without any struggle and still faster than WQHD of S8.

[deleted post]You call him close minded? I bet you can't even own an iPhone7.
You have to rely on Android paper specs and gimmicky features no one wants.. Living in a world of speed illusion. Comforting yourself why your Android lag or crashes is because it multitask like a pro.. and try to mimic what a true PC can do.. but in fact, Android is slow, touch non responsive, misclick often, crashes, battery draining OS.. that can't even match a normal windows PC!

AnonD-560564, 24 Apr 2017No it will be slow because of high resolution.Tests have been done with the s8 at full resolution 1080 x 1920 same as the iphone 7 plus with the Same A10 chip. The iphone outperformed the s8 on more demanding tasks by a large margin. Stop living in a bubble there are many tests out there that run off screen test in which the devices are tested by same resolution. A10 is faster.
People here should understand one thing and that is that during multi tasking, Iphone doesnt keep the different tabs on but refreshes them when re-opened.
Got a upgrade, I'm thinking of get iphone7. Anybody can give me some advice?
On my old iphone 5s the battery could last 3-4 days on a single charge with very little use. Most of the time it was on standby.
I Wonder how long this iphone would last with same usage?
Anonymous, 23 Apr 2017It would run the s8 faster. A10 chip is better. No it will be slow because of high resolution.
AnonD-664009, 23 Apr 2017I phone 6S plus 64 Giga OR iPhone 7. 32 Giga ??iPhone 7 128 definitely. Don't buy 32. If not - 6s 64

There's no need to argue. I can see S8 better in some benchmarks and iPhone better in some other benchmarks also. Both comes with pro and cons. I love Samsung, Sony, Apple. Peace.
Droid, 21 Apr 2017I bet you watch phonebuff videos. The worst video tests on youtube. Non real time comparison. ... moreA10 is much better than both exynos and snapdragon used in the s8. You sound very bitter as more and more videos are now emerging on YouTube proving that a 6 month old phone still has faster performance again. I would take a guess that the 6s with its A9 chip would also come up with much faster performance than the s8 when more videos and speed tests are put up on YouTube. Funny how Samsung fanboys complained about apple having worse hardware all the time when their beloved flagship can't beat a 6 month older phone and possibly 18 month older phone. Ouch the truth hurts.

Anonymous, 19 Apr 2017only iPhone 7 CDMA & EVDO support more LTE bands thinner shorter narrower lighter ... moreI'm Sony fan and I think you're a smart user. I love iPhone but I need more freedom on android. Only one thing I hate about iPhone which is has a lower screen resolution, I want at least 1080p 5 inch for non plus and 1440p on plus version.
