consumersmartphone, 29 Mar 2017Okay lets say no need 4K or 2K, bus please dont lie that 1080p is much better then 720p for 4.... moreIf eyes cannot discern the pixels at a proper range. Whats the point of increasing it, why not use that to increase performance and better battery consumption?
According to research, to truly be retina, you need over 1000 ppi!! That 2k 4k means little to your eyes, yet major impact on performance.

"But please advice about:
4.7" with 750p (Screen resolution not flagship-grade lol)"
IPh... moreIPhone screen looks very good, the resolution isn't problem for almost anyone. i cant see the difference with iPhone 7 compared to S7 screen, and many have said same. >> Oh God you should check your eyes to hospital, iP7+ vs S7, that reasonable to compare (display).
By the way why don't android users talk about how bad resolution android tablets have? Or how they can use computer screen? It looks really bad. >> 100% agree with you about this! Really Bad!

AnonD-560564, 27 Mar 2017I agree with the battery and screen resolution thing but
No headphone jack-Water and dust pro... moreXZ have 3.5mm headphone jack and IP68 rating for dust- and water-proofing, Please!
No nfc file transfer-Airdrop or apps like shareit can work out = why need more if you can have one with almost all, like others have, simple!
That jet black color-u can prefer the matte black variant = okay, I dont have any feeling with color, but scratch phone is suck, next!
IR port-even samsung has discarded this feature so no = so Apple follow Samsung? or samsung follow apple? Okay
138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm , I come from 5 screen, doesn't seem to wide is it ok to type not squished uP??? My other width 7.2
I've used the Galaxy S6 for the past two years. Tried the S7 for two weeks but brought it back to the store. Now I have the iPhone 7 and I think I've made the best choice. It's such a powerful beast with a great camera (also in low light situations), also AMAZING battery life. The screen has lower resolution but I prefer the true to life LCD because I always disliked how Samsung's AMOLED creates fake punchy colors with yellowish whites. Yeah, this phone is expensive, but you have a good device that will receive updates for years to come, while Samsung S7 will only get Android Oreo and after that no more. There's also a reason why iPhones hold there value in the second hand market, not only for the logo, but because people really enjoy using them and they the speed and stability will remain for years and years.
consumersmartphone, 27 Mar 2017What a comment posted by pure innovation apple fan! thumb up!
But please advice about:
4.7... morescreen resolution is pretty much enough for this size. Xperia Compact series also has 720p display on about the same size and iPhone still is little better than 720p. In fact, it is the best LCD display in market. It's like comparing Samsung TV to LG TV. Samsung has best LCD TV while LG is still better because they have OLED.
The phone doesn't have a bigger battery because it is thin and small and has 3D touch and Taptic engine which take up a lot of space. You can't compare this to a fat 5.5in 8.5mm low end brick. Also, battery isn't expensive, a 3000mAh battery costs about the same as a 1960mAh battery, which is 2 dollars.
There are many phones coming without headphone jack. In the near future, like 5 years, we will see only few phones with headphone jack. Hopefully, manufacturers will also start to give you wireless headphones until then
A microSD card slows down the whole device because they are much slower than the inbuilt storage. And if you have 128GB, you have no worries about storage nor speed
For what else do you really use NFC? Bluetooth is good and better for the rest of wireless communication, as well as WiFi which isn't always available but as I said, you have bluetooth
Fast charging is there since iPhone 6. It's not the fastest, but combined with an iPad charger, you get the job done in about an hour (it charges much slower when you hit 80%, so that the battery doesn't die so fast). Wireless charging isn't possible because it has an aluminum back. If you have a little bit of knowledge with physics, you should know that. It is very possible to come with the next iPhone together with a glass back
The only use I could think of an IR port is to use it together with your TV. But every newer TV with WiFi supports remote apps (even our 2010 Philips has it, but sadly, my 2008 Samsung is too old)
If you don't like jet black, you can still buy a matte color. It is just an additional offering to the colors of its predecessor iPhone 6s.
Anonymous, 27 Mar 2017Well seeing as apple has just now introduced quad-core processors and more than 1GB of ram, no... morebruh your pixels isn't even half as fast as iPhone 7 and also lacks good RAM management.
