Don't feel it's worth buying. Iphone 7 has similar performance.. looks ditto (Literally) , feels better in the hand, lower price and a normal 'NON BLOATING' battery. I don't want an overly hyped piece of s*ht that eventually needs to be send back for replacements. (By the way , i tried them both side by side)
Chigi, 09 Oct 2017Just wanted to know if the issue about the battery on iPhone 8 has been sorted by Apple as IÂ’... moreI doubt Apple has their hands around it yet. Some things to consider, shipments for the iPhone 8 are far behind what the iPhone 7 enjoyed when it debuted. The two main reasons are supply line shortages for the OLED display and redesign issues. Also, the vast majority of shipments to date haven't been to individual purchasers, rather they've gone to the main service providers/retailers like Verizon, Sprint, AT&T. If they are experiencing a high incident of battery expansion or other defects you can be sure they're not going to highlight them. Only time will tell.
i just love iphones !!!!!!!!! from Ranchito village corozal district ,belize central america.
Just wanted to know if the issue about the battery on iPhone 8 has been sorted by Apple as IÂ’m planning to buy the iPhone 8 this week please advice thank you
I wouldn't assume that as you have no hard numbers on the amount of shipped devices. It could be a small number however Apple isn't helping themselves with their only statement "We're looking into it". They should be ahead of the public awareness by address the issue. Right or wrong, perception becomes the reality.

gsm_fan, 07 Oct 2017there have been a few reports that the iphone battery is swellingDidn't Apple announce this as a new 'feature?
Graves, 18 Sep 2017I never owned an Android phone so take this as a question rather than a criticism. I had an ip... moreIf you've never had an android device HTC's U-11 is feature packed, a clean OS at a good price. I read a lot comments regarding android phones, that they crash, freeze or lag but I've never had anyof those issues even with phones I didn't flash with custom rom' s. Apple makes qualify devices but they are playing catch up now and are pricing themselves beyond many buyers threshold.
AnonD-682955, 07 Oct 2017Glad you have found "the one" but keep it real. Stating iPhone has 2 to 3 times the resale val... moreLast year, a friend of mine bought the Htc 10 for € 700 and I bought the iPhone 7 128Gb for € 750.
Today, his phone's value is € 230 and my phone's value is € 600
Presidio, 27 Sep 2017Apple still has a lot of haters I see in the comments. I like both Android and iOS. In this ye... moreGlad you have found "the one" but keep it real. Stating iPhone has 2 to 3 times the resale value is nonsense. Now that the iPhone 8 has numerous software glitches and the battery expansion catastrophe your resale argument looks even more foolish.
Anonymous, 17 Sep 2017Just wait 2 years: your phone will lag as hell, the camera will show problems, the storage wil... moreNo TouchWiz on my device, I've flashed it with a Custom ROM which allows the android OS to perform flawlessly without all the bloatware for years to come. Too bad that's not an option for any iPhone devices. Apple only allows you to do what THEY want you to do, which in turn keeps you hostage to all their funky propritary accessories. Also, comparing an iPhone 7 battrery to a Galaxy S8? Please.... you're smarter than that, I think.
still 750 x 1334 pixels in 2017 !!!??????? and almost 2018 ????!!!!
keep buying this, well done to apple in brain washing department.
Reports that the iPhone 8 is having serious battery issues. Numerous users have offered evidence the battery is swelling up causing the device to split open. Not good for Apple!
I find it has some pros and cons but overall I like it, check the full hands on review of iphone 8
scorpio, 06 Oct 2017Why get so angry? Everyone is entitled to an opinion. It's only a phone after all. This is not an opinion, it's wrong facts. And I just reacted in the same tone he wrote his comment
Anonymous, 05 Oct 2017good for you, but I don't care about your phone nor your cr*p opinionWhy get so angry? Everyone is entitled to an opinion. It's only a phone after all.
Zack, 04 Oct 2017So What's New??? 'Steve did they make the same phone since 2007?Same from the outside, but different from the inside, and that's the area I care about.
no name, 05 Oct 2017Sorry guys to be honest but Apple is failed.
Is this Iphone 8?It has just few upgrades from I... moreWhat does your "flawless" design mean??
iPhone 8 also has Bt 5.0
Fingerprint scanner location is much worse
Bixby is not better (watch MKBHD voice assistant comparison) and always gets triggered unwanted.
So you are left with... basically nothing
I don't say iPhone 8 is better, but your arguments just don't fit. And that's no hate, it's just showing facts. iPhone 8 may be overpriced when you compare it to its biggest rival, the iPhone 7 which is much cheaper. But that doesn't change the fact that it's a good phone and definetly an upgrade from it's predecessor.
And I also prefer iOS, just because it's more secure, has less UI glitches and bugs, faster updates than 99% of android phones, longer software support than >99% of android and a consistent look through everything from the cover sheet over the preinstalled apps and their titles to the app icons. So that's a matter of preference, but after having used both, I prefer iOS. Sidenote: iOS is also catching up in terms of features, tearing down the walls of the castle that steve jobs and Scott Forstall built. For example, they just gave us the ability to record our screen in iOS 11, and it's true this was available on Android since years. Just bad that now, you can't list this as an advantage anymore. And the advantages of Android are basically freedom and customizability, not security, support or uniformity.
With that being said, continue to use what you want and don't let anybody change your buying decision, but only your opinion on something if there are good arguments.
