Graves, 18 Sep 2017I never owned an Android phone so take this as a question rather than a criticism. I had an ip... moreI've had a 5s for two years upgraded to the 7 at the beginning of the year and the main improvement was the speed which was incomparable it was just so fast, my 7 was stolen a couple months ago and I really do miss it have been using the 5s again. I have just pre ordered the iPhone 8 mainly just because it is way faster then the 7 was but hey we'll see (:
i belive that for 1 ex iphone user company wont mind but certanly new iphone is not waterproff (warranty excludes water damage) , charger rippoff idea , they will lose eventualy many customers , such a great product with greedy company - switch to note 8 for certain
Graves, 18 Sep 2017I never owned an Android phone so take this as a question rather than a criticism. I had an ip... moreIf you are interested in iphones, and you want to get one, and it looks like money is a matter for you, then don't bother of paying for iPhone 7,8 just buy the iPhone 6s, if you are still interested in Android, i have experience with two Android brands, Samsung and Sony, my experience with Samsung is the first few months you are so happy, then, here it comes the troubles, my experience with Sony, i bought Xperia z3 from 3 years, i used it intensively for three years, this smartphone was a legend, my father had Galaxy s5 causing him troubles and i found a Xperia x 64GB for a very affordable price, so i bought it and gave my z3 to my father and he is still using until now.
Graves, 18 Sep 2017I never owned an Android phone so take this as a question rather than a criticism. I had an ip... moreYou will always come to a point where you need to upgrade your iPhone because it gets slower with the newer iOS versions and the battery wears and so on, but you seem to need a phone with a good value, because I don't think you need the flashy new gimmicks of iPhone 8 like wireless charging. I think an iPhone 6s will be just fine for you, because the newer iPhones are not that much faster, and Overall, the iPhone 6a just has the best value on an iPhone if you don't want the smaller screen of SE. A phone I wouldn't recommend is the iPhone 6, because it is not a big upgrade from 5s (6 to 6s is a way bigger upgrade) and it suffers from problems. The iPhone 8 is also not that good of a choice, just because it is new and more expensive than it should be, due to the fact that it is not widely available. The iPhone 7 is a moderate upgrade, but the price difference is too big for what it has to offer compared to 6s, in short: it has worse value.
I never owned an Android phone so take this as a question rather than a criticism. I had an iphone 3g then an iPhone 4 and finally an iPhone 5... This means on average I change a phone once every 4 years (my iPhone 5 is approaching 5 years!). Sometimes I consider switching to Android because (for me) mainly iTunes sucks and I don't wanna pay the 7-8 hundred Apple asks... But when I start looking for a phone I get dizzy and bored from the user comments... one phone heats up/ another is slow/ the other crashes/ some times they even blow up... (price to pay for one size fits all OS). I am not interested in a top notch phone... I am interested in one that is durable and its going to serve me and the 5 -10 apps I consistently use for the next 4 years. Being a programmer I really do not care about "the freedom of Android" I want something to work out of the box without crashing... I dont like big and bulky phones (in fact an iphone 5/se without the edges would be ideal for me) but I want a slightly bigger screen than the 5 mainly due to reading emails and sometimes documents... what do you think about the 8 and its price? (1.2k for the X is obviously ridiculous... )
Xathura, 17 Sep 2017If you're so happy with your Sammy, what are you doing in iPhone page then? You should look at your friend saying first, Samsung is hanging or freezing or whatever is it.
I still have 5S, which is now 4 yeas old, and it still works like a charm. Maybe you should try it, instead of judging it by some biased X-brand opinion.
Duke1, 16 Sep 2017looks like the the main difference between the iPhone 7's and these 8's is the move to glass b... moreYeah, after that, there are the A11 Bionic and 4k@60fps, but the difference to iPhone 7 isn't really that big. I still like how they evolve and improve a working product, but the upgrade is just too small to justify the high(er) price.
Hey Buddy, 17 Sep 2017My S8 Plus with 6GB RAM and never lags or freezes. It has 384 GB's of memory, a wonderful Sony... moreJust wait 2 years: your phone will lag as hell, the camera will show problems, the storage will be slow as heck, the back panel and front panel will be cracked because of this fragile edge, the phone will only last 2 hours because of touchwiz problems and the update cycle will end so you won't enjoy the fancy new features of android Q. At that time, I will be here sitting with my mint condition iPhone 7 128GB and enjoy the latest iOS with faster speed than new android phones and look forward to what the rest of the 5 years of update support will bring.
Xathura, 17 Sep 2017If you're so happy with your Sammy, what are you doing in iPhone page then?Educating consumers so they can make informed decisions and correcting disingenuous swill.
georgelucian, 17 Sep 2017Still small battery,1821mah is not enough.don't worry its running on iOS with the best processor on the market right now
so battery optimization is not a problem
Anonymous, 17 Sep 2017I disagree. People need other people's opinions. One should always consider what makes sense. ... moreI agree. Let, the choose what they want. One thing which makes apple different from Samsung is the reliability. The phone will literally last forever, doesn't hang and is damn secure.Security is the reason why there is an apple ecosystem. I have an iPhone 6 and it still doesn't hang and works like a charm. Samsung starts hanging after 6months of use and softwareupdates makes it even worse.
Anonymous, 17 Sep 2017I disagree. People need other people's opinions. One should always consider what makes sense. ... moreListen to other people? Lol. No thanks. You must buy the phone you want and don't look at other people. In my country many people buy Samsung and iPhone. But I've bought Sony and never regret. But if you want to buy iPhone or Samsung just buy iPhone.
obosen, 16 Sep 2017lol! why so much hate, mate? if iPhone sucks then why is it still hot in the market? you're so... moreI disagree. People need other people's opinions. One should always consider what makes sense. Apple has isheep. That is those that just buy up anything apple puts out there just because it's apple. I've been buying iPhones and Samsung as they hit the market cos I like using 2 phones. I usually end up giving away my iphone at the 4th month. Samsung does everything it does and better. I think I will wait for the upgrade of the IPhone x next year.
