keyurforyou, 10 Mar 2018Hi friends. I need some advice for my next phone. I have a iphone se and looking to upgrade. H... morevalue for money wise, the Galaxy S9 gives you more. It has a slightly better camera, more modern design, microSD, headphone jack, more RAM, longer battery life and what not. But as you're looking for something that lasts long (which also means long software support which means security as well as the latest and shiniest features and app support), you are probably better of with an iPhone if you plan on keeping it that long. To be honest, I also keep my phones around that long, 4 to 5 years is exactly how it is with me as well. And I bought an iPhone 7 last year as an upgrade to my iPhone 5 and I'm still extremely happy with it. But what I would recommend you the most: keep your iPhone SE for another year. It is still on the side of great performing phones, and camera improvements also weren't as big to jump out of the window. The iPhone 8 is not that old of a phone, which means it is still quite expensive. The iPhone 7 is better value but comes with lower base storage. The iPhone 6s has even better value but comes with even lower base storage.
This all, of course, if money is an issue. If you already work for yourself and your bank account goes up by 500 € every month, then well, go ahead and get yourself an iPhone 8.
I am not able to do so because I am still at school.
Hi friends. I need some advice for my next phone. I have a iphone se and looking to upgrade. Here in India iPhone 8 64gb and Galaxy S9 both are available at same price of around Rs52000. I know specs wise and features wise iphone 8 looses big time against S9, but i also know perfomance wise and security wise iphone 8 should last 4 to 5 years as against around 3 years for the S9. What should I buy. I am comfortable with any OS, so thats not an issue. I am looking more from value for money and longevity as i am not going to spend 50k every few years so my phone should last me around 4 to 5 years if i spend so much.
Anonymous, 07 Mar 2018Apple isnt as sorry as you will be. Have you recently owned an Android phone? Do you know what... moreWhat a ridiculous and uninformed comment. I have as s8 and previously had an s6 and prior to that an s4. I can tell that each update keeps on improving immensely and the s8 is the best phone I have ever had. Currently running android 7. My wife has an ip8 which she likes but I would not swap with her in a fit.
Anonymous, 05 Mar 2018Which is better in term of battery life, I need a really accurate answer. iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone 8?8 will be better but the first few dys it will be working hard to download your icloud and so on, if youre on a slow connection or has 200GB icloud filled up (like a lady i know) the 8 will consume a lot of battery the first few days.
Use this method when setting up a new ip8:
1. On your old iPhone turn off icloud backup.
2. Connect old iphone to iTunes, it will autobackup.
3. Set up your new phone, when asked chose to restore itunes backup.
4. Chgange the name of your new phone (general - about)
5. Click on each app that didnt install (marked with a cloud symbol) to download them from Appstore.
6. Start each app once to finish initializing and setup as required.
Connect itunes again to sync new apps (like TV app content, your videos will not be restored from backup since TV wasnt yet installed)
iTunes backups are super fast, and you avoid days of icloud downloading.

Do you know what youre getting into? I buy android phones rom time to time to keep up with whats going on but the last Android i bought i sold the same day i received it. It has gone completely downhill and is so hard to use now that it was physically painful. Its now no doubt, android was at its best with Android 2.3, then it went down a while and up again with 4.1-4.3 but since then it has plummeted to where its current level can best be described as "useless".
If ip8 is sold out it must be a temporary thing.
I'm switching from Apple to Samsung.Apple this year have been destroyed itself.I did expect Iphone X would have great features. In my country there was Iphone 8\8* but now I cant find it there is only iphone x and 7\7+...sorry Apple :-/
Does anyone know which apps can allow Iphone 8 to download korean song with lyric (free & offline)? Thanks.
Which is better in term of battery life, I need a really accurate answer. iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone 8?
I am using 8 from last 3 weeks and i am fully satisfied with phone and battery performance.I like handy and classic design of 8.
It's an ok phone at best.. but are these news true?
It's a decent phone. What i say is, its a "performance" phone. Nothing new or special. But performance is satisfactory. I have been using it for last 2 weeks, and i noticed battery life is quite impressive. My old iPhone 6 became crap. Don't know how long my iPhone 8 will remain fast.
iphone8user, 20 Feb 2018terrible waste of money (in my opinion), just an "improved" iphone 7 with nothing else to offe... moreNo significant improvement in performance between the Note5 and the 8 or the 7 and the 8?
The is almost a 40% improvement in the performance of the 8 as compared that of the 7. When it comes to Note5 the difference is so chaotic it's not even worth mentioning.
Michael, 24 Feb 2018Did i stutter? Poor battery life and poor resolution and they call it a flagship phone.iPhone 8 outperforms by far every other similarly sized Android flagship on battery life, even though it carries the smallest battery of all. Bad battery life used to be the case for the 7, not the 8.
StrummerG, 27 Feb 2018I have none of those problems with my iPhone8, If I'm not using it hourly, my battery is good... moreCouldn't agree more. The battery on the 8 is substantially better even from that on the 7, where I upgraded from.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2018in my opinion you should go for iphone 8+ because by the years apple may stop phone updates on... moreApple doesn't stop providing users with it's latest software updates unless the phone is so old that it's age has rendered it unusable for practical reasons. By practical reasons I mean e.g. the storage capacity, as for example an update may potentially exceed in size the overall storage capacity of a 3 year old device. What you are describing applies more to other providers of Android phones that may depending on the occasion cease to provide software upgrades even as soon as 1 year after the launch of some of their smartphones (e.g. OnePlus or Samsung)
