Anonymous, 11 Jul 2016My SE doesn't stutterCorrect,om coming from the Samsung GS7 for the very first time to à IOS-model, the IPhone SE was irrisistible for me. The SE has à not so 'great' camera as the gs7 but sure the device is way faster then the Gs7. Its frame rate on heavy games is higher. -Instant loading times as Well

I have had some stutters though .Some legacy files in iOS 8 are causing stutter problems in iOS 9 if you do a restore from your last device which was on iOS 8. I am not saying you are not having these problems cause Ive had some too,, for instance I have 6 home screens full, if I go to 6th home screen then press home button to return to first home screen it does stutter its not smooth.
I did have some trouble with mail set up which I have never had before and BBC News just kept crashing back to springboard. I upgraded to latest software 9.3.2 and did a restore and it is working ok now except for stutter transition from 6th to first home screen.
When this first came out some folk/sites said that the hardware was not fully optimised for the screen resolution of the SE and that the powerful chip and extra gig of ram was not been optimised properly.
Perhaps the SE needs a separate software upgrade specifically for A9 chip running a lower res screen, who knows? I am know expert but will say I have had 6 and 6s and none are as smooth as the original iPhones (in my case 4 and 4s) no chance they ran like silk but these newer phones are as juddery and stuttery as Android.
I still think the fastest phone I have owned is Nexus 5 with Nova Launcher, absolutely hammered it and never had a stutter no problems (except battery bit poor).
LOL @ Anyone that buys this device from 2008.
The specs are junk and now we're finding out you'll need to go out and buy a new set of good headphones.
Anyone buying this device needs to get their head examined!!
john, 09 Jul 2016HoW is the battery back it?pls help.If you mean how good is the battery, then it may seem like a pretty small phone with a small battery, but it actually works for a pretty long time and its great for people who dont like hugeee phones like the 6s plus (like me). You obviously cant compare it to the 6s plus's battery but it still packs a punch and much much more comfortable to handle.

At first the phone didnt work right, same thing with the second and third, but then I got an update that kind of fixed that problem. Next, when I go to type a message or email, the clicks dont go with when you touch the letter. It is slow and my iPhone 5s is a much better phone.

This range of smaller phones suites me also have z5 compact. If back then when 3.5 inch was perfect by Apple fans surely 4 inch is a big jump. They just need another few years to adjust back down to a smaller phone, a phone not a tv set size thing. People were raving that smoothest gaming experience was iPhone (3.5 inch) for 5 years , every mag was saying when a new phone come out was "is this the iPhone killer" every month . So iPhone 3.5 inch was king for yonks.
It is a mobile phone and even though Nokia had smaller screens ALL that screen was available because of real keyboard or T9 keyboard whereas you loose most of these touchscreen to keypad. People cope for 10 years with phone sized screens now they cannot cope. Surely folk game on a real console not a phone and I do use catch up tv/news channels for general stuff but if I watch a film on blue ray and tv not a phone. Folk coped since 2000 using email on Blackberrys 2.4-2.8 inch screens.
With 1/3 iPhones sold being 4 inch I hope they replace this in future and the future is smaller phones as the trendy thing to have and folk laugh at these big silly phones.
Yoyo, 30 Jun 2016Tiny is the reason to not buy this phoneIf you've suffered a stroke and only have the use of one hand, then a small smartphone is exactly what you (I) need. Sorry if this offends anyone's technological sensibilities.
