Every person has different budget and needs. Most of the people who are criticizing are not throwing their frustration. They were expecting full size phone like iPhone 12 in budget price for $400.
My requirement and budget is limited. Here in India you have pretty much only 2 choices if you decided to omit Chinese brands. Apple and Samsung. I love the echo system of apple and virtually almost you can be google free on apple phone. I'm still using my iPhone SE (1st Gen). This seem to be decent phone for me to upgrade. Again I have nothing to say who are comparing Vivo/Oppo/OnePlus to this phone. Like I said its all about choice, you liked chinese brands, please buy them. Those who wish to jump the ship, do watch some keynotes from 2009 onwards. Privacy concerned people should jump to apple. Those who can afford should buy iPhone 12. Those who cannot afford apple phones should simply stick to Samsung phones.

The new iPhone SE is a great compact phone for people who like small compact phones. It's great to hold and for one hand usage

I am also SE 2016 user and my usage is limited. I don’t have WhatsApp and don’t have Facebook either. I love the small size of my Old SE. My recommendation to you is, skip this 2nd GEN SE instead go for iPhone 12 mini. You will get better battery life, bigger screen, better camera. All flagship features in small size with 5+ years updates. Shifting data from old to new phone is as simple as you can imagine. Just open your new phone and place it next to old phone. Follow the screen instructions.

It was definitely possible for apple to include a larger battery in the iphone se 2020. Even 2600 mah was possible if they made the phone thicker

And it is worse with gaming, Apple should've put the A12 Bionic in the phone, and invest into battery instead. Or they could've at least added night mode as shooting mode, would've made the phone a more compelling value.

You sound like someone's grandparent telling them the devil resides in th... morePeople dont stay in contact 24/7 with no break and no one works from phones if your job requires an ios or android device you should use a tablet or an iPad i worked with people who do that and all of em says it's impossible to use a phone completely just for work, the addiction part is real just don't defend that it don't exist.
