I'm no fan of restrictive, overpriced iPhones but once more, Apple leads the way with a decent *proper* compact handset with good specs. When will the other dimwit Android companies sit up and take note?
Answer: when Apple does it because they are too stupid to undertand there is a market for small compact handsets with decent specs.

Launching another I phone 8 with different name is not a great deal.. They are just killing older devices to tunnel people to specific devices.

Battery like Galaxy Nexus, screen like S3, RAM like S6, cam like S7, performance like S10. But seriously - The phone is 6th years old, the iPhone 6 updated. Better cams and CPU. Jobs will never aproved it.

The battery is small yes but so is the phones small low-res screen, remember the chipset in combo with the this screen will last longer than a Android with 5-6" and 3500mAh just fine! The issue is when we compare it to devices with a low-power chipset paired with a 4000-8000mah battery these huge thick devices often sacrifice size also making them bulky! Oh and iOS is well optimized for battery... software, screen size & chipset matters more than the actual battery size!

Remember that unlike the iPhone 8 this chip is more modern and consume less power, should last longer than the 8 just fine in combination of the tiny LCD screen, beating Androids? Might be hard when there is sub 200$/euro devices with 4000-8000mAh around... :P

And honor not having Google Apps doesn't matter here coz Apple doesn't have them too.

What a price discrimination! 400 dollars in USA, 42500 INR OR 553 dollars in India? How funny, this price for only 64gb version. I think, iPhone XR is better choice still now at 450 dollars.
