Despite the small size of the battery, A13 chip and iOS are very power eficient. I don't play any games on it (never was a fan of gaming on a phone) and it easily lasts between 1 to 1,5 day for me.

john11, 07 Nov 2020You'll always find yourself charging if you're a heavy user and this is your phone. ... moreQuite frankly we don't know if the 12 mini battery size makes the case for a heavy user, to me heavy users need to go with larger phones, iPhone 11 seems a better candidate as it has one of the best battery life ever from the apple.

I love Apple's optimization on their iPhones. That makes their devices surprisingly last a day even with a smaller battery capacity. But 1821mAh battery is just too small these days. If you want small phones better yet go for the iPhone 12 mini. Better battery, display, specs and almost identical in size. Sure the price is a huge difference but it is worth it. Still up to you though.

Mat, 06 Nov 2020In long run will it be a problem In the available 64gb device you could store around 13000 12mp pictures ideally, let's say you download some small apps and updates you could have 9-10K pictures in the phone before storage ran out. Video is a different matter of course.
You could take 2000 12MP pictures a year and not run out of storage in 5 years.
I don't know anyone that takes 2000 pictures a year and keep all in the phone.

I upgrade my phone from iPhone 7 to iPhone SE 2020, This phone has very good performance, Thanks to A13 Bionic! Before my iPhone 7 I had iPhone 7 Plus, every I had problem with the size and then moved to 7, I don’t like big screens like iPhone X, XS, 11 and 11 pro, I prefer 4.7 screen, It’s handy and enough for me, Now I’m very happy purchasing this device, Using powerful device without any lag on iOS 14, And also the battery is good for normal use, At the end I recommend iPhone SE 2020 and it’s affordable.
