Please someone convince me to buy this apple when I can get much better specs and features in an android for half the price. Makes no sense. Please someone tell me why IOS is considered better. Very confused

So my friend has this phone and so I am using it too sometimes. Size is perfect, kinda jealous now. Phones nowadays are more like tablets. Bezels are really nice, you can hold your phone in a more comfortable position because you dont accidentaly touch everything while holding it (my problem with bezelless phones, i hate it). Only batterylife is really short, my Android phone with 3000mah (which isnt that much for an android), sd845 and 1440p 6.1 inch screen wins easily from the se and the battery is 1.5 years old... This stops me bying this phone.
Camera is also nice, i got the chance to mess around with it. Pics are clear and have a lot of details. Colour reproduction is also most of the time accurate
Phone is also really fast. You can play games without any lag noticeble

Also most of these scores are measured differently anyway. Big example is the Passmark Benchmark Test. The iOS version scores at roughly 700k on the 11 pro (not max), and android versions on the pixel 4 score 24k and the exynos s10 at 18k. If you look at the RAM differences, core count and clock speed between the chipsets it's obvious. Also, some video (that I can't find the URL) explains a CPU in detail to non-techies. He did say that if you are looking at multiple cores with lower clocks or less cores with higher clock, you should multiply core counts to their clock speed. In this case, the Snapdragon 865 total is 17.3 (with the efficiency and high power core speeds) and the A12Z is catching up at 16.4. Not to mention a lot of their features are limited to iOS so these fake geekbench numbers mean nothing to me. If Apple steps up with their rumored 3.1GHz clock speed on their 8-core A14X, they could step ahead on their tablets as long as they don't bend like paper.

POCO F2 Pro same price and munich better have better chipset Snapdragon 865 The A13 and the 865 processors are both top of the line, the deciding factor is what you want, a beyond gigantic and heavy 220g gamer brick or a high quality small and light phone that is a joy to use. Completely different customers that would NEVER EVER pick the other one.

Instead spending 349$ for new Iphone 8 with Iphone 11 Max Pro Processor, Better buy Iphone X or XR 3/64, 3/128 or a flagship android.

In other words the bezeless tall screen is for the most part a style preference rather than a useful feature. On the top of that the 12 "mini" will be $649 and what you are going to get for that price is probably a larger battery (if you actually need it) and it's corresponding extra weight.

I'm waiting for the smaller 5,4 inch (13,7cm diagonal) iPhone 12. iPhone SE 2020 has unfortunately 15,4cm diagonal. I like smaller iPhones in total. :-)

I didn't like only... moreThe iPhone 12 "mini" is larger than this and it seems it will be $649 should be fine for your intended use though, you can still buy this on a battery case if you don't mind the display size and don't want to wait or pay extra.

This phone is good in size, camera, display and better than android phones. I didn't like only one thing, it's battery. 1821Mah is making me not to buy because I used to play games, use social networks and YouTube. So waiting for iPhone 12 which is 5.4 inches

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2020If you do a lot of 4K60 video you can consider 128mb.True. For me I don’t see any urge to do so. HD 30 FPS is enough, same thing I apply on my Pixel 4 XL.

I immediately went for the 128gb version, so you can relax for years, even when the IOS will take more space after updates … according to battery life, my SE lasts a whole day with an average of 5hrs screentime, always connected to wifi, very seldom on 4G....at the end of the day 30 to 40% power left. A business user...

I think it’s enough unless your planning to install more apps/vids or use the highest camera and video setup. If so, then you go 128. Otherwise 64 is great value.
