One can make an argument that no one really needs cell phones. They're just an accessory.
Customization is great because it gives the user freedom of choice.
TL;DR in my past post
Few android phones may give a better battery life but its downside may also provide a bad camera, a low chipset (mostly Snapdragon 400ish) and it may also be considered a budget phone. Customization in android is limitless though but who needs that nowadays? Most android phones only give 2 year guaranteed android support updates even the flagship ones.
iPhone has a great camera, secured usage, but limits its customization. Its UI though is classy enough and is fluid. Their bionic chipsets are power efficient (except for older models that is why it had issues. This may be the issue with their software updates.) The bright side with iPhones is that it has guaranteed 5-6 years OS Updates and supports. Their phones is somewhat pricy though.
If only iPhone SE 2020 costs higher than its price now, maybe Id also go rant about it. But guess what, its price is suitable for the phone. Its actually perfect.
I've been using android for a very long time but I own an iPod years ago. It was an iPod 4th gen which lasted for 6 and a half years before it died because I was too clumsy and it fell off my hand in the gym. RIP iPod, you were great btw.
Okay so my experience in the android environment is kinda not really good and not really bad. I had a HTC Explorer as my very first phone and it lasted for 3 years max. I actually did some custom roms with that phone which made it great but then went useless because the updates can no longer support the phone. My next phone was Zenfone 5 (the old version) which had a lot of bugs. Goodness graces I had to turn that to the customer service for repair and it happened twice. I had to give up on that phone because it nearly took off my patience. My next phone was Xperia XA and it was one of my (not really) great phones I had because it had a great camera but with the expense of the battery life. That phone cannot last a day and also the phones build was not that great. My experience with that phone was good though. My recent phone (before it was stolen T_T) was the Honor Play which I consider as the best phone I ever had. It was great but the camera, not really. The performance was great but the support towards the phone had many issues. Huawei stated on the release of the phone that they will be giving 2 android updates to the phone but then they stopped in android 9 which is also not a good sign for the phone.
I, myself, would prefer a small phone, a good camera, good battery life, and a great performance. For the past 2 years, there was no phone produced under 6inches and it became bigger from time to time especially the android brands. The battery is also getting bigger but still, same experience. It'll only last a day with normal use.
My experience with an apple product which is the iPod was actually great even though it didnt have the updates after iOS 6. Back when it was still alive, it still can update most apps and can still download most games but now, I doubt that it can still support most apps.
What made iPhone great is not the battery life. The battery life in most of android phones are not great no matter how big they are but I am also not saying that they are bad. They can last for a day with normal use and as well as with the iPhone.
iPhone is great because in terms of photography, they have it. Updates, certified 5-6 years. Battery, it can last within a day depend on the usage.
But lets not deny the fact that most iPhone are costly thats why it has gained so much hate. It is too much overpriced.
And here comes the iPhone SE 2020. I actually never thought that apple would be releasing their own flagship killer.
Never forget guys. Oneplus released a $1000 dollar phone with issues while Apple released a $399 phone with A13 bionic chip in it. Its like a Pocophone F2 except its an iPhone.
Endurance results in gsmarena will be in soon. I soo look forward to those
Note 10, the best compact phone, will have better battery life.
Apple battery life is far more optimised than Android, so those who complain about short battery life, pls go research b4 comment
I own a brand new iPhone 7 with 100% battery health because apple is still selling it in some regions. I get 4-5 hours of sot depending on task. Can play pubg for around 4 hours. Really love the small form factor. Anyway I had Samsung a7 which had 3300 mah battery that one still couldn't give me 5 hours sot. So don't worry about the battery on your new se 2020, it's gonna give you good battery backup. Specially because of the 7nm+ soc.
Whoever complaining here about the phone, I don't think they ever owned any iPhone yet. They are just thinking 4000 mah android can't keep up for five hours how can an iPhone with 1800 mah can?
To those who think they are smarter than those who want to buy this phone, and that Android have better value options than this “dated” iPhone, they should work with Samsung Xiaomi OP etc to outsell Apple with your brilliant ideas, you will earn a lot I belief. Not wasting your air here.
6.75" Screen, 24 Apr 2020I want a 6.75" screen version. Call it the SE MAX.Never happening but basically all androids out now have 6.5" screen or more, insane, but in an effort to have people upgrade their phones they will do anything basically.

Sticking with my original SE.
would have loved to get a better camera and chip but I don’t want or need a larger phone.
I answer texts, I talk, and I play music.
Does it all and still takes decent pictures.

Also the A13 will help with the computational photography for the cameras.
Alexandre, 24 Apr 2020You should pay me for this advice, but I will give it for free to you since you seem like you ... moreIm sure you are very humanitarian, when I say sue as a phone I mean use, financial apps, world time, uber, and such. That stuff is for a phone and this phone can do that to perfection.
Now watching movies is something for a 50"+ TV not a phone, even if it is a 6.5" screen it's still pathetic, same as games, you get a PC or a high end console in a big screen.
Thanks but don't go saving me money, i don't want a $50 cheap piece of plastic full of backdoors ready to suck up my credit card number and everything else I may put in.
Seriously keep your advise to yourself, I know where I put my money, I can afford $400 every once in a while as long as I am getting quality for them, not a supposedly "flagship killer" phone that is anything but.
While Sony was keeping same designs, people was killing them, and here are people talking about that there are stiill people who likes compact phones ))who needs in 2020 hd screen 50% bezels ,while we are waiting for under display front camera,65w fast charging,144hz refresh rate, how you can feel the a13 bionic in hd screen?1800 mah is a joke for 2020 and you know also battery health falls very fast on iphones,I M SORRY but if you trying buying this phone for 399$ you dont know anything about smartphones, you better eat an apple ,it s really healthy))

An incredible powerful phone with serious small display, low amount of battery and a single camera.
what will people do with this kind of power?
Gaming? in that small display and lower Mah battery?
A single camera.
In this price,
Android smartphones are providing Great value with Multiple really good cameras, power, narrow bazzale display.
Dont know what is the actual purpose of this phone
New phone shorter then 140mm in height? What year is it? 2015?
I would consider buying it. So few small phones left on the market!

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2020This is for someone using it as a phone, you know, like a PHONE, PhOnE, no movies, no youtube,... moreYou should pay me for this advice, but I will give it for free to you since you seem like you live under a rock, and I'm quite an humanitarian myself! If you want a phone to be used only like a phone, there's phones from 2008 that have batteries for a week and would cost you 50$. Or let's say, you don't care about YouTube or netflix or any of the sorts but for some reason you still check social media and need a good screen on a compact phone, let me tell you there's hundreds of phones on the market less than half that price, smaller and with a better screen. Don't have to thank me, you're welcome!
