Apple iOS Rumors

The iPhone XR was the top seller for Apple in Q1 and in Q2, so its successor is highly anticipated. The first 3D renders have surfaced and they show a design that’s a 50:50 mix of old and new.

The back half is new. It shows a dual camera on a square bump, similar to the one seen in the iPhone XI renders (though they have a triple camera). The front half is unchanged - the iPhone XR 2019 will have same screen size, 6.1”, and the same overall dimensions, save for the thickness.

The new model is thinner – measuring 7.8mm for most of the body and 8.5mm at the thickest point (the camera square). For comparison, the current iPhone XR is 8.3mm (not counting the small protruding camera).

The cameras details are unknown, but it’s likely that Apple will reuse the current iPhone XS dual camera – so, a regular and a tele camera, each with a 12MP sensor. On the front, the notch (and Face ID hardware) appear to be unchanged. The screen may be the last LCD panel that Apple uses.

As usual, there are unsubstantiated rumors that Apple will switch the iPhones to USB-C, but that’s not what the renders show (that said, renders aren’t entirely reliable when it comes to telling ports apart). Using USB-C would allow people to use the new 18W chargers, though we doubt they will be bundled with the iPhones (especially the XR).

You seem to be grasping for anything to complain about; cases with extra corner-drop protection have existed for years: https://www.mytrendyphone.eu/images/Genuine-Samsung-EF-QA510CBEGWW-Clear-Cover-for-Galaxy-A5-2016-SM-A510F-Blue-Black-17122015-0...

And? Onleaks usually do that to cover several color combinations. What matters is the design, the colors could change depending what Apple finally decide. He don't make public a design without a trusted source or directly an insider from Apple or oth...
