Apple Mobile software Online services

Apple Pay is already available in quite a few countries and territories, but its international expansion isn't about to slow down anytime soon. In fact, the company plans to launch its mobile payments service in additional markets before the end of this year.

As revealed during its earnings call for the second quarter of 2017, Apple Pay will make it to Denmark, Finland, Sweden, as well as the United Arab Emirates. For now all we know is that these rollouts will happen at some point before December 31, but more details may be coming soon.

The geographical expansion isn't all that Apple's doing in order to make the payments service more popular. In iOS 11, which will be released this fall for supported iPhones and iPads, peer-to-peer payments made through Apple Pay will be built into the Messages app. This means you'll be able to easily send people money from within iMessage, and if you receive some cash you'll have the option to spend it using Apple Pay or withdraw it.

I highly doubt the success of this in Scandinavia. They're bringing it way too late, we have several different types of contactless payment options and also on the phone. It's too updated by now
