Apple iOS Rumors

The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro series will be made in India, marking a first for Apple’s Pro series iPhone production outside of China. According to a new report from Bloomberg, Foxconn India will start manufacturing the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max at its facilities in India within weeks of their launch.

Apple has been assembling iPhones in India for the past seven years and according to a report from earlier this year, India accounts for 14% of total iPhone output. That figure is expected to grow to 25% as early as next year. Apple is also rumored to kick off off iPhone 17 production exclusively in India.
