Nexus 7 16 GB (No 8GB for Malaysia) is going to be launch in Malaysia on 21 September. The rumors are saying that it will be the 3G version. I'm hoping the rumors are true. :)

mantas, 18 Sep 20123G is not a problem, because most smartphones can make wifi connection directly through its mo... moreYup, 3G unnecessary unless you expect a phone line. We can always find MiFi (3G/CDMA router) under $50 after market. My question is "Will 3G version available for less than $50 addition?" which make 3G version worth it to buy.
8GiB (6GiB usable) will be a problem when we want to install certain hi-end games (which require 1 GiB+ spaces) along with music and videos.
AFAIK this tab is superb (as I already tried it for some minutes); and waiting for this device is officially available here in Jakarta:)

3G is not a problem, because most smartphones can make wifi connection directly through its modem. And 8gb is not a case, beacause you just need to root your phone, buy a microusb to USB (mother) adapter and use any usb stick(for movies or large files), keyboard or mouse...

This is a Premium Tablet, Without the Premium Price,Quick, Smooth, With Games Running with no Lag at All,
Ideally it Would have been Better if It Had GSM/3G Support, & Memory Card Expansion, Get the 16Gb Version, as You'll Run out of Space with the 8Gb Version.

I've got my new nexus 7 tablet and its great but it has one dead pixel ... i think thats not a big problem because it can be observed only on dark backgrounds ..thats the only minus that it has except the 8gb memory )) that can be expanded with otg usb flash))

Cylowatt, 15 Sep 2012The only big con is that it does not have a 3G/4G module. However Asus is going to change that... moreI don't case about the missing 3G module. Since I already have a contract for my phone I would not want to pay twice. Right now I am using Bluetooth tethering for 3G connectivity on my N7, which works very well. My recommendation: do not use Wifi-Tethering, because it drains the battery of your phone too fast. Bluetooth uses way less battery power and I hardly notice any battery drain on my phone.
