Asus Google Nexus 7 - user opinions and reviews

The only big con is that it does not have a 3G/4G module. However Asus is going to change that by providing Nexus 7 with a 3G module (but I already ordered 16GB without 3G). Also you can always use tethering to access the Web, of course it drains phone's battery as well, but if you REALLY need to access the web and there are no WiFi hotspots around, then it should do. Besides watching videos on Youtube and reading Emails is perfectly fine on at least 4 inch phone display so there is no much need for it. Still 3G would be nice, but for only 260 euros (price in my county) it's the tablet that is in my opinion better than the new iPad at least when it comes to price/performance value.

Yes. Undoubtedly the nexus has got the best configuration at this price point. Even it defeats iPad 3 if you compare based on the price. iPad is double the price of Nexus but the specs are well comparable to that of Nexus. Well, has anybody got an idea that actually when asus is going to release the tab in india???? I just can't wait to buy this one........

how about you go to any electronics store with a $200 and ask for them to give you your "oh-so-precious" iPad fo $200? even if they were to shatter the camera lens on your puny iPad and give the iPad to you for half the price, it's still can't change the fact that your iPad is much more costly than this. you're just a pathetic apple fanboy who doesn't know what he's saying.
I find it ironic for you,though,that you call every device that your apple device has encountered. you even compare your prized possession with a $200 tablet. that just means that even an apple fanboy such as yourself thinks so little about your own device. BTW, your iCrap whatever sucks. it sucks,like, so big time, that even its fanboy(you) compares that overpriced sh!tload to a $200 tablet that outclassed it. :)

well i cant believe. how much people slag this off. this is the best tablet on the market. the only different between this and ipad, is ipad has better screen. other than that this beats it hands down. in every aspect. faster better for gaming. overall performance. so its simple.

So-so specs device with the best of all android version of OS. If google can produce a tablet with better hardware combine with thier Jelly bean, then they will beat Apple for sure.

Postage from US will cost you more then 75AUD. Go to Officeworks or JB HIFI and ask for a price match to an online OZ business.You get local warranty! not an ebay unknown seller. And you can walk home with a beautiful little tablet as I just did last week for 275Aud (16Gb version)from Officeworks. just a tip check out topbuy.com.au just for start. Good luck;-)

Great tablet! No previous exp. and rooted 10 minutes(now see usb external drives perfectly). Got mine from officeworks for 275Aud (16Gb version) a week ago. very fast,smooth video play,nice audio out,really good wifi range. 9+ hours battery life.Best size to fit bag and carry on.Love it!
