after 3 days of using Nexus 7
Nexus 7 is the WORST tablet 2012 , Android Jelly Bean Sucks ,
very slow , extremely laggy , performance poor
It's the worst tablet , very slow , touch is very bad
Typing you need to hit the key 2 , 3 time . It's the worst tablet 2012.
camera no need, use ur phone camera, send to picasa, and from n7 u can see ur pic.
16 gb is enough, for surfing the net.
3G= what s the point, keep ur money, go free wifi or tether from ur cell.
have fun 1-2 years with this tablet and sell it on ebay for 50% cheaper.then buy a new model.
guys who bought the ipad got it in the butt, big, heavy and run hot....
but guys...also consider the price...in this range u wont even get a mobile phone bttr than this....
Why don't they make it Africa user friendly? Without a sim card this gadget is useless in Africa (in South Africa to be specific), as wifi is very limited.
Anyone can tell me about the battery life of this device compare to iPad 3
Looking at the specs for this, I'm going to have to pass on this. The main reason is the lack of a micoSD port. My tablet has microSD as well as a USB port. Each can have up to 32gb of storage, plus the internal storage of 16gb.
That's a total of 80gb total available to me.
what is the used of rooting the nexus7? and can you still run official android and still get google updates ?
is it possible to connect bluetooth headphones to this tablet for music listening?
neerajsingh1, 07 Aug 2012does it support micro sd if we use converter from USb to micro usb?yes but you need to root it..
I read a lot of gripes here about some of the lack of features but other than the lack of SD card, all the rest are total non-issues. I have the 16MB Nexus and think for £200 it's easily the best tablet currently available.
No GSM > Wifi Tethered my smartphone in like 20 seconds. Now I don't need a separate contract for being on the move.
No Back Camera, > Really? tablets are way too cumbersome for taking photos. Used my smartphone and synced.
No HDMI > Used DLNA
No SD card Slot > Yeah would have been better with (or 32GB version) but a rooted Nexus 7 has OTG so you can use flash drives or even external drives. Personally, I'd rather watch movies using a real system and same goes for games so I reckon 16GB will be fine for a few books and audio books.
civil war, 08 Aug 2012pls can i connect my google nexus 7 directly to my laptop and transfer (without internet) and ... moreInstall airdroid from google play store. You wont even need a cable to connect to computer. Only wifi connection required.
No GSM, No Back Camera, this is for gaming only..not so much useful, and not for general purpose...purely for gaming....It's not a good option.
