I've got a HTC Flyer tablet which out-specs the Nexus in camera and some other ... moreThis is a "budget" tablet and is not meant to rival iPad directly but the likes of Kindle Fire and Nook. For the price tag of $199 for the 8BG version this is a phenomenal tablet. Also the thing is meant to be used more or less at home, ergo, ditching the 3G module to cut down the costs. And when one has the thing connected on Wi-Fi there is no need for expandable storage since Wi-Fi is kinda free and has an unlimited data plan. Another thing to point out: NEXUS is GOOGLE's brand not Samsungs and this tablet was manufactured by ASUS.

Becarjuma, 30 Jun 2012why the gsmarena not write that google nexus have GPU ULPGeforce 12core? this is good hardware... moreit may be a 12 shader gpu, but theyre not unified shaders. iirc, its divided into something like 4 vertex shaders and 8 pixel shaders, whereas the mali400 uses unified shaders (1 shader does the work of a vertex and pixels shader), which is the reason why the mali400 performs on par with the ulp geforce in the tegra3.
the tegra4 will be the one to look out for since it will be using not only unified shaders... but it will be using nvidia geforce kepler architecture, which is on 28nm meaning lower power consumption and less heat, as well as much much better performance. its a shame that the eta of the tegra4 is late next year/early 2014.

If acer will update thier 110 tab to android 4.1 that will be awesome

does Chrome on this work in landscape mode?? as Ive watched a YT demo video that seems to show content in portrait only during most tasks - hoping chrome will load either way round, as seems odd otherwise!

The website name is GSMArena, and that signifies that the site should list "phones". However, this is a first from GSMArena, when it has listed a totally NON phone devices (note that other tablet manufactures have phone/non phone versions so that should be ok). May be high time to change the website name to gadgetarena.com or something :-D

I've got a HTC Flyer tablet which out-specs the Nexus in camera and some other respects, while the Nexus does offer quad core. Fragmentation in the Android world seems to be getting worse, not better. The Flyer is much more expensive at over £400, but I got mine brand new at a drastic reduction of £220 inc VAT. Samsung had to cut some weird corners to bring the Nexus price down; why are they cheapening their premium Nexus brand?

the people who says "android is too confusing" obviously never owned an adroid or just a hater...
first of all its not very hard to use an android phone unless you have a brain of a 6 year old
2nd: there are many themes on the market that you can just download and it will install everything for you... after that, all u need to do is just move apps/widgets anywhere u like on the screen...not hard right?
3rd: if you really are lazy and wanna keep it simple, just keep the stock android theme that came with the phone...not too hard right?
4th: if you miss your iphone... u can download the iphone theme and everything is done for u... not hard right?
5th: customisation is there so people has a choice of what they want and what works for them... its basically like an iphone but with more features

Too much confusi... moreRear camera, I have an ipad 2 for almost 1 year now and I have never ever used the rear camera nor I have seen anyone using the ipad or any tablets to take pictures with the rear camera,noone carries tablets to parties or trips and take pictures(we have phones for that).
