Posting this in 2018 and have to say that this is one of the (if not THE) best tablets i've seen, sure it has it's flaws but only if you're a nitpicker. Installed Lineage OS 14.1 (Nougat 7.1.2) & enjoying a nice piece of hardware. Thanks ASUS!!
It's 2018 and this tablet is still in use. I flashed the latest lineage firmware and root booster and it became snappy and o get back the security updates as soon as they are released from Google.
Im still using this tablet over 4years old and everything of this part as still ok, battery life still good 100%. So far software ok run with os 6.0.1 . And all of aplication is still good working :) THANKS TO ASUS FOR BUILD THIS TABLET

Ellik, 14 May 2017 when I'm reading the specs I also notice it says the battery is not removed that is not true ... moreYou will need to pry it open. In your book, even the screen would be replaceable...
This phone is in DJI phantom 4 list as been compatible with their drones but after buying one
the video is breaking up and lagging ,far too slow !
Far too slow to be used with drones, my old Samsung Galaxy 4 works perfect with the drone
Ellik, 14 May 2017The Nexus 7 tablet does not have vibration nor does the second generation tablet It would make sense for the LTE version to have vibration, but mine (no LTE) does not.
when I'm reading the specs I also notice it says the battery is not removed that is not true it is removable and replaceable

All off the sudden after update the tab used to get heated and later it got hanged, so I tried restarting it, But it was stuck at Google logo, I have tries to reset/wipe data, but that didn't worked out. Later I took it to service center, they said they could not solve that issue, and the only solution is to get the board replaced. Google and Asus are only responsible of pushing that update with bugs that caused this problem.
