Just bought my Nexus 7 16GB yesterday and so far I'm very satisfied with it. I bought it at SM Megamall here in the Philippines. First impression, it was stunning. THe display's superb. I tried other tablets first before buying this, even considered the ASUS MemoPad as it's much more affordable but comparing the 2 displays, the Nexus 7 is the clear winner. I am also a big fan of the vanila Android and that's the only reason I would buy an Android phone or tablet - if it's a Nexus device. I like the matte finish of the back and the all glass display in front. The performance is unquestionable. I tried teh ASUS MemoPad and there were some hiccups when srolling through pages and swiping on the screen but I rarely get this issue with my Nexus. I know it's only the second day so it's too early to judge but I have this feeling that I will be enjoying this tablet for a long time. I am a big fan of Windows Phone and when I got my Lumia before, I told myself never to go back to Android as my experience with WP was really great. It was just a smooth OS. But the Nexus line changed the perception that Android is just a lagging OS. It certainly is not with the right number of RAM and core processors. I just hope it has a microSD card slot and HDMI.
I will be back commenting after a week or 2 and will post my experience with the Nexus 7 and I hope the my positive view of this tablet won't change.
Cheers from the Philippines.

i'm planning to buy a nexus 7! However I have a question, i hope you(nexus 7 users) don't mind me asking. Can i use projector using this tablet?
I hope you could assist me. thanks in advance!
parillo joseph, 14 Jan 2014can we use USB OTG cable to conect an USB 3G to Nexus 7 2013?Yes you can, and you can with the first generation as well.
Another remark: currently, the first gen. of Nexus 7 is the most supported tablet by custom roms and applications. This will be on same level soon too, I'm sure. So, besides the performance, it's highly recommended those who ever want change the rom.

can we use USB OTG cable to conect an USB 3G to Nexus 7 2013?
Buy a USB OTG cable and download the Nexus Media Importer. You can then copy files from USB flash drives to the Nexus 7. Copying files directly from PC to Nexus 7 is straightforward.
From my Mac, I use Android file transfer - a free software to transfer files
You just need to buy another usb cable. It can be even a samsung one.
