Mine has worked fine for 5 months went to use it this morning and it won't connect to the internet ?
I cannot get this tablet rooted. I have followed the instructions and made numerous attempts but I guess I need an alternative method than Framaroot.
Here is what I have:
Memo Pad HD7 ME173X purchased Dec. 2013,
Build number ME173X_US_user_4.2.4.04152_20140714 release-keys
Developer Options turned ON
Android 4.2.2, Kernel 3.4.5
Framaroot 1.9.3 (offers Boromir, Faramir, Barahir)
Root Checker Basic 5.4.5
Had this tablet back in 2013 and has been my device until I got my Note 4
I can honestly say it has been a delight having it, Is still running smooth today
It gets the job done! I hope Asus makes a tablet like this again, I will buy it for sure as long as it stays in the price range of 150 under
I've had my Asus memo pad hd7 for about 8 months and lovin it. At the moment I'm trying to connect my memo pad hd7 to the TV via the micro USB slot using a (MHL) to (HMDI) adapter
with a power supply to the converter bit.
Unfortunately the TV says it recognises the adaptor, but not the memo pad .What am I doing wrong .Any help would be great.
Now I've bought the adaptor I'm going to try and make it work. Mick
Does anyone know who can I restore my Asus HD7 to 4.1.2 android system??
I recently purchased an sus memopad hd7 for $80 on NEWEGG, and I must admit it was worth every penny. It does lag a little bit but not enough to call it a deal breaker. The screen is nice, and you are able to make screen adjustments with an asus program built right in.It has sd slot, but no hdmi, but it has miracast and is able to stream in hd with CHROMECAST, which is about $30, the price of a good HDMI
I bought it a couple months ago - and it still works fine. No lag when playing game (The Sims, Asphalt, Smurfs, etc). No sign of cracking when using it for a couple of hours (FYI I'm not using any case, only put it in my pouch). A little bit disappointed about the camera quality, but yeah, overall: great specs with great price!
nitroxp3, 01 Sep 2014This is not a good tablet for gaming. Cpu is really slow and the gpu sucks. It is also really ... moreI don't know why you have so many problems with your tablet, because I have one and I'm using right now and it functions just fine it doesn't lag and gaming isn't such a big problem ( except for really detailed high graphic) otherwise everything is fine the sound, the picture, etc.

Hello everybody does anyone nows when will get kitkat 4.4 asus memopad hd7
This is not a good tablet for gaming. Cpu is really slow and the gpu sucks. It is also really slow and the camera quality is not good. The sound is poor quality. If you want to root it it is really easy. The screen is poor quality and the sound buttons takes a long time to react because of the tablet being really laggyy. Dont buy this tablet there is no performance.
How much memory does the micro sd card have to be?
How much gb can I buy 16, 32 or 64?
Well it amazes me. i love this tablet. but its the same spec as the orignal nexus 7 tab (2012). and that was high end tablet. and this classed as budget tab. great specs. just wish the camera was better, tend not to use it. as it colourless and bland. but great screen. awesome sound. loud for a tablet. overall. top marks.
