Earlier this month Asus announced it will unveil the ROG Phone 3 on July 22 through an online event and now the company has confirmed that the gaming smartphone will debut in India on the same day alongside the global announcement.
The launch will be streamed live on Asus India's YouTube channel starting at 8:15PM IST (2:45PM UTC) and the smartphone will be sold through Flipkart.
Asus hasn't divulged any details about the ROG Phone 3 other than confirming that it will have the freshly announced Snapdragon 865+ SoC at the helm. But thanks to TENAA, we know the gaming smartphone will boot to Android 10 and have up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage onboard.

The ROG Phone 3 will sport a 144Hz 6.59" FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a fingerprint reader underneath. It will come with a total of four cameras, support dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA), and pack a 5,800 mAh battery.
Gaming phones don't need cameras. I would trade the front camera as well as two secondary cameras on the back for something more meaningful. I don't click pictures so one main camera will be more than plenty. Give me crisp screen resolution...
