Hello,
Guys i am planning to purchase this phone un 2-3 days online in uae chineas version is only available in here. I have seen lot of issues in the comments like baatrie drain faster, takin time tome to charge battrie, auto turn on bluetooth, disconnecting ceellular data and some kind of softwere issue as well so please help me out

Guys my region is INDIA...I need to buy a phone with a smooth display and moderate gaming
I liked every aspect of these phone but everyone after Android 10 update they say so buggy, not charging,batter issue, game automatically closes and so on.....In INDIA Implementing 5g soon is not possible and now 5g phones are so expensive.....So shall and buy Rog Phone 2 Strix edition (Global Edition in India) not a tencent one or should I Wait for some time....kindly share your experience guys ....It may help me..

Dark3ye, 15 Apr 2020Does Rog 2 have laser AF? I dont see any laser sensor like the zenfone 2 laser.If you need laser autofocus in a 2018-2020 phone, you have a small list of less than 5 flagships that have it. Have fun reading specs!

Glad i sold this phone. Too much software problems. If you're planning to buy this phone think twice and check out it flaws on xda/youtube. Yeah the spec promising but the software optimization are so bad. I won't buy asus product anymore even if they release 3rd or 4th generation. Worst experience ever..!

I bought the 1tb version rog on (Nov 2019) , but the screen suddenly cant turn on (Apr 2020) during MCO, phone storage usage I only use 20 %, and Malaysia service centre will open after MCO, all my data lost , I had bad experience 1st time using this phone , when go online find the solution , so surprise that , a lot of user same issue ...asus please don't disappointed me .

I've owned this phone since it came out in the US. There's a worldwide version (12GB) and the China version (8GB). If you're on T-Mobile you'll want to root this phone and use the guide on XDA - I was having buyer's remorse for months because it would have to revert to 3G to make a call. No VoLTE or UMA / VoWIFI. Now IT'S THE BEST PHONE EVER. I love the heck out of this thing. Please note it's hard to buy accessories for this phone in the US, you have to wait for things to come from China. Asus did not intend for this phone to be popular in the states, and it's not. But daaaang is it fast, which is why I wanted it, I'm not a mobile gamer.

well... the difference in sound level between the max volume and the 2nd to the max volume is quite huge as compared to the 2nd to the max and the third. Aside from that, adjusting the volume from lowest and going up -- when inside a game -- sometimes gets delayed.
Also, android 9 here.
