Anonymous, 07 Jun 2022Is it getting android 12 ?Android 11 is the last OS update for the phone. Last security update will be around July or August 2022, 3 years after the phone launched.

2 years later mine suddenly died. When charging it suddenly just didn't turn on anymore. I suspect maybe the battery though I'm not sure. I only ever use the included charger and I hardly even game on it anymore so I don't think I fried the insides. Oh well it was a good experience.

Nson, 28 Mar 2022batt problem when charging the phone shut down and need to turn on multiple timesYooo same but mine restarts by itself even at shutdown it turns on by its self also if i plug an otg usb at the phone it gets stuck at a bootloop

still strong my rog 2 with 12/512gb.dont have any issues whatsoever after latest update,just light gaming, browsing and streaming movies.the speaker is still the best among rog series and even anyphone how bout that!

It cost me over $200.00 Canadian to have ubreakifix (local repair shop) replace the screen for me. I couldn't find the screen for sale for under $250 if I was going to do it myself.

Ajay kumar 1, 13 Nov 2021I want buy a rog phone 2 with a touch problem it is worth of buying it now ?In 2021 I wouldn't you should go for an ROG Phone 5 if you want to stay with ASUS, this doesn't have 5g is pretty expensive even secondhand. I use one every day but it hasn't been a show stopper to be honest

It does NOT have an SD card slot. It has a dual sim card tray only and does not support SD cards whatsoever.
