NickName_Optional, 03 Sep 2019Any downsides/con for the tencent version? None that it matters to me. My phone was flashed to Global Rom from China Rom before being imported. So far the phone's stuck in June 2019 update. The rest of the people who has the Tencent or Original version will let you know.

Contacted Asus enquiring about system DSP (EQ) and Bluetooth - system DSP in ROG Phone2 does NOT support Bluetooth! So the system DSP in a high-end phone costing near £1000 at the back end of 2019 doesn't support Bluetooth when every crappy third-party EQ app does? I'm astonished, and it puts an end to my interest in ROG Phone 2.

anyone knows the difference between the tencent 512 variant with the global 512 variant? does it have the same cellular band? i've done research and cant see a complete specs of the tencent 12/512 variant

Hamze, 29 Aug 2019What's the diffrence between tencent version and classic version?🤔Tencent version sports 128GB storage with 8GB RAM, whereas the non-asia version should have 128/256/512GB storage options but with 12GB RAM.

I hope it has a system DSP. The plethora of third-party EQ apps are truly awful, and I would expect it to have a built-in EQ like the magnificent MaxxAudio in OPPO Find 7

Sorry I could be wrong because I check several phones. They didn't complete the specs for BT Audio on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro which supported like HWA and LDAC. I wish reviews talk about that. Hopefully it supports LDAC because this would be the best featured phone so far.
Especially combine with Fiio BTR3 because it support Aptx low latency. This is the downside of BT audio is that there are newer tech being release. You end up upgrading until every issue is fix. I have to wait for the next Walkman with BT reciever like BT 5.0 and supports many codecs.

maybe you can add a card slot for that rog 2 phone and extend 1tb rom.. in my opinion
