With the sad news that OG rog phone isnt getting pie update, im getting really disappointed in asus, making a phone this good and then not giving it proper software to use the power of the hardware...Not even a single major update for a 1500$ phone? not nice. I already ordered rog2 but if they do the same to this phone, it will be my first and last asus device. Had the midranger xperia x compact for 3 years since sep2016 running 6.0 out of the box and then got 7 and 7.1 and 8.0, and also there are 9 and 10 custom roms for it but OG rog phone doesnt even have any custom roms...(that i know of)

nuz, 28 Oct 2019hey does it come with plastic screen like protector against scratch out of the box?When you unwrap the factory plastics from unboxing, there was nothing further applied to the screen. But Gorilla Glass 6 is strong enough to withstand scratches to a certain extent. It wouldn't hurt to further enhance protection though...

Using it as a daily driver with a third party case, tempered glass for the front, and a Skinomi skin for the back. I did the same when I got my hands on the OG ROG Phone in January. And for both (so far), I've not experienced any dust build up in the camera units whatsoever.
