What I gone through ever since Android 10 updates
1. Overheat issue when your usage time is less then a hour.
2. Mobile connection disconnect frequently while in the game. (WiFi and mobile data)
3. Gaming issues.
Note : For all at above has no solution and ASUS will not help you on this for sure.

I took this phone in December, 2019 when the phone is running Android 9 smoothly until Android 10 incoming where the problem started unexpectedly. First is overheat issue then comes with connection issue and following by gaming issue.

i think most of the problems come from 12/512gb variant. 2 of my friends having those variants having refusal to turn on issue after playing certain games. mine is 12/1TB and its working like 1st day of use, updated latest firmware. i even purchased all its accessories but twinview dock, feeling confident the ROG will serve me for another 5 years.

An Important advise to anyone planning to buy this phone, Simply don't buy it, I own one unfortunately and it has a big problem, that is the screen turns off and the phone is shutting down while playing pubg, and also the phone shuts down while charging using fast charge.
This issue is happening to many users of that phone and the only way to fix it is to replace the motherboard as many users did that, the reason of that is the heating, the phone doing that when it is reaching 32 temperature.
It is a nice phone but this problem is killing, An Asus is not really helpful in this problem with the users.

If you are planning to buy this phone, then don't. Low QA. 1 knee high drop and it's gone then you'll be spending half the price just to get it fixed. There are better phones out there that survives multiple higher drops that has the same specs or even better and in a lower price. Yup, I'm bitter about this phone. Did not even last 4 months.

My phone (tencent versiyon) nfc doesnt work. All nfc menus active but dont read cards. FW and fingerprint WW. Haow is yours?

So I am a complete phone Geek and to this day I still think this is the best phone ever so far.
As direct comparisons, I've had: the S8+, Mate 10 Pro, Pocofone F1, Oneplus 7, Pixel 3 XL, and currently am on the Oppo Find X2 Neo (changed from ROG because it is chunky), etc. Anyways, this phone, imo, is #1 in: Speakers (better than ROG Phone 3), has great battery life, doesnt get hot and I hardly used the fan, durable, and fast. The only downside was its weight and size, which is why I had to move on from it. The ROG phone 3 wasnt a bust imo, but the speakers were worse, the speed boost was negligible, the glass back is eh, but the battery is a bit better. In the end, I still have the ROG Phone 2 as the best phone as of right now.
