Asus Android

Asus will unveil the Zenfone 12 Ultra on February 6. The brand hasn't detailed its specs sheet yet, but a short video teaser posted on X by the Taiwanese company gives us a glimpse of the Zenfone 12 Ultra.

The video clip that you can watch below reveals that the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra will pack a display with a centered punch hole. The phone's screen also hints at an AI-powered real-time call translation functionality. Additionally, it confirms the presence of the 3.5mm headphone jack - a feature we rarely see on flagship smartphones these days.

Hardware-wise, the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra is said to be the ROG Phone 9 Pro sans the gaming features, and if that's true, it will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 6.78" 185Hz FullHD+ LTPO AMOLED display, and a 5,800 mAh battery with 65W wired charging support. The smartphone could come with an IP68 rating and four cameras - 50MP primary, 32MP telephoto, 13MP ultrawide, and 32MP selfie.

I just hope they add back the headphone jack when they make batteries user replaceable.

I, for one, would prefer a reasonable price over bootloader. But I have nothing against a bootloader.

Would be great if they could sell this in the US at launch too.
