Anonymous, 16 Dec 2015Anyway, is it support 4G or still 3G? 3g only
It's been 2.5 months since I bought this phone. So far, I'm satisfied with its performance. The cameras are good, while the cam software is great. Some decent games could run quite smoothly. The battery is average, but the charging time is pretty fast. Sound quality is very good, while the speaker is not so loud. Radio and flashlight are available, but the phone comes without earphone. My only complaint is the ASUS bloatwares since they consume quite much of RAM and space. Anyway, you could still disable it to save the memory. If you want decent and versatile smartphone for your basic daily activity with a good price, this phone is for you.
Anyway, is it support 4G or still 3G?
lol, 09 Aug 2015zenfone 2 deluxe has gorilla glass 3 while this one has gorilla glass 4?!!?
WTF ASUS GROW UPhey dude , about the glass, because deluxe and zen2 comes first, there is no corning gorilla glass 4 , but when asus releases a zenfone 2 laser , corning gorilla glass 4 is important
there is not much diffrence between glass 3 and glass 4. its how you use it
so for the first week using this phone it performs well, nice touch on zen ui ,
many reloaded app when buying this phone, high performance on this phone ,nice front and rear camera, pixel master camera for zenfone is a plus because this phone has a laser autofocus .. so far so good.. for those have problem in camera , learn how to use it correctly. there must be some problem why you cant capture a good pic
Jay, 13 Nov 2015ze500kg 8gb ver, does it support USB otg?yes it does
Horrible software in zenui. Bloatware for days, very very annoying. Hopefully I can flash with Cyanogenmod or something because the hardware seems good.

ze500kg 8gb ver, does it support USB otg?
This is very nice fone. If I may give a star, it is a star 5. Good camera, good desig, good display, good software, good multimedia, good connecvity but for hardware I only give star 3. So I recommend you guys to buy this.
Bought this phone a week ago, and so far completely satisfied. totally affordable price but does just great. smooth, fast, nice display. produces great photos too, the laser makes it easier to focus on objects. battery life is not bad (since I don't do gaming on phone). the only cons maybe is the volume button location.
if you want this phone but like to do gaming and want a better battery life you can buy the ZE500KL. a bit more expensive but provide better features of course.
i have boought it. so far is good. Laser autofocus make i can get focus on photo so fast and clear focus. Great camera even i can use super resolution that makes my resolution from 8mp convert to maximum 32mp to take picture. Display is good. My battery capacity is 2070. Ihave heard that batery capacity different based on location.
Likes
- Good battery life
- Fast
- Graphics on games look great
- Earphones sound good
- Body of phone is a bit wider compared to other Zenfones (which feel too long vertically)
- Nice ergonomics, feels good in hand
- For the price, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage is a bargain
- Front camera is good
Dislikes
- Camera quality below average ("Laser" technology feels no different from previous Asus phones), flash is inconsistent, pictures are soft
- Video looks slightly choppy
- Speakers too soft
- Settings Menu is confusing (older one in different Asus phones was simpler and better)
- Somewhat heavy

Friends, please help me choose between Asus zenfone 2 laser and Moto g 3rd gen. Also, is the battery capacity the only difference between ZE500KG and ZE500KL?
Your opinion is highly appreciated,
Thanks
Just bought it. It's nice so far. Good quality Camera even only 8mp, small and slim. Fast charger, only 1.5hours. FM radio available. Speaker is good too. I just wish there's a headset inside the box.
Somebody already using it (the 500KG version) please tell me how much capacity of the battery? the asus website says 2070 but another says 2400, which one is accurrate? and how's the performace compared to zenfone 5 2110mAh battery? cus i'm considering switching from my old z5 to this phone. thanx in advance
