mic is hardware device is fixed in board , what ever we speak , other persons can hear
this cost around rs less than 50 .00

all the phones using android os gets really slow aftér using long time , because internal memory occupied much space ,backgroud applications are running continuously without our knowledge ,
1) so use asus autostart manager to deny all the applications ,expect antivirus 2) use ccleaner app to clean unwanted files
3) clear cache data from app apps tab
OR wipe cache data from recovery mode ( be carfeull ) see asus support page how to go to recovery mode

I have purchased my Asus zenfone 2 laser ZE550KL and it has been almost more than a mon... moreMr.LaserBlack-->do one thing send all the bigger apps&games more than 100 MB(only third party) to your massive SD-card and you will get some space in your default phone memory. And a small suggestion is daily re-boot your phone for once,if you use camera just re-boot after you use(because its a hidden con camera app use a lot of memory re-booting is the medicine) and clear your junk every week (clean master-->you can use any other app also). Please reply me after you try these tips and you can ask me any other doubts I will try to clarify you..:)
