It's able to focus objects faster than most phones(2 seconds). It also helps in taking really close up objects with that laser which most phones can't. The laser allows you to take picture at a quicker rate without blurring out the image. That's the function of the laser. You can actually see the laser blinking when you turn on your camera and look at the phone's back where the laser is located (to the left of the phone's camera). It's an excellent feature to have especially if you're a photo enthusiast

newer up date your phones.because sİnce last idiotic update my zenfone 2 ml 551 @4gb ram and 2.3 ghz atom is now runnİng much slower
