I tried installing the latest update ..it downloaded just fine .. while installing during boot the progress bar stopped at 1/4th of the length n the boot loader opened n showed the log.
Update pack found
Unpacking
..
..
Error(at some path )
update failed.
(Sry I couldn't recollect the exact log )
Then when I rebooted the phone, a pop message opened saying, "the firmware was reset to the factory state" . I checked the update under settings it showed LRX22G.WW_user_1.11.40.299_20150819044030520_201505210103
Now I try to find n download the update saving by clicking the "check update" but it doesn't work ..
Help find me a solution .

Don't be confused. Let me explain. Asus has launched 2 variant in Zenfone 2 Laser.
1. 5.5" Screen with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor (Octa Core) with 3GB RAM.
2. 5.5" Screen with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor (Quad Core) with 2GB RAM.
