Try to remove the battery and then insert it again if you have double tap to wake up problems. I have the same issue

Heating is normal in all devices if you see, but there is certain limit for that, you can check if any unwanted 3rd party apps are heating up the device.
for battery issue use Asus Auto start manager & Power saver App as well
Update your device to the latest firmware & reboot to recovery & wipe cache partition

it's an must bay phone.. the camera results are just awesome.... and easily use it a hole day with a single charge..... the only one drawback is the quality of usb cable provided by company is no to good... otherwise it's a must bay phone... m using that same one...

Rear camera is doing great job in day light conditions. You can compare with dlsr in micro shots.
It is doing decent job in taking long shots. But you will get disappointed with low light conditions.

Coming to rear camera in low light conditions... It is not bad and it is not great, its like between average and above average. Bcoz i compared it with yureka plus, lenovo k3 note and samsung j5... comparing with these mobiles in low light conditions this mobile is at last place. Regarding details it is capturing well but the problem is you will get more noise. I think this can be rectified with future updates.

Just try to swap the the sim card in both the slots. update your device with the latest firmware update. reinsert the sim again. you may also check with the service provider.
Wipe cache partition and still if the issue persist, factory reset your device.
