I am sure you have another issue which you didn't notice. Make a call and see your proximity sensor will not work. Your screen becomes blank and you cannot cancel the call. Simple solution.......Remove screen guard and buy another one which is compatible with this model.
All are doing the same mistake............................
Friends wake up... Ask screen guard or tampered glass for zenfone 2 laser (not ZENFONE 2) I think many of you are buying screen guards of zenfone 2 model phones. These screen guards wont work with this model.
Buy screen guards which has hole at top left................

friends i m using ds pone 4m last 2 weeks .before ds device i was used lenovo K3 note .my experience is very bad about k3 note .
about asus my opinion is.
1) camera 8/10 good picture on fully dark place. w/o flash
2) RAM 7/10 always available more than 800mb/2gb
3) display good 8/10 bright . feel extra color effect.
4) battery backup 9/10 very good .
5) sensor best working
6) work fast without hanging.
7) in the range of 10 thousand one of best.
