and i just tried to update my phone manually as you said to me... but when i choosen update file and pressed power button the process started and it showed installation aborted...

use usb for file transfer ?
allow the file transfer using computers
which you trust when connected .
click yes wait for some minutes , windows searches drivers for asus mobile and install sucessfully .
here after you canb transfer the files
if you not got display mesages on screen means , check the use cable , change port of computer .
make sure battery is charging if you cancel to connect

dred007, 21 Aug 2016I bought a brand new zenfone2 laser 5.5 yesterday...the battery drains fast...is it normal for... morefor this phone , latest firmware design is improper , so tts only getting batery drains as fast .
it may be solve in next month update

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2016I have a problem..My phone's front camera is not working at the same time...Its sutter is slow... morego settings---storage and usb --- internaal memory --- clear cache .
switch off the phone . go to recovery mode , wipe cache partion . restart the phone .
go settings---apps - camera -- uninstall
go to google play an d download it and restart the phone

use original charger to charger to charge , if still showing mark means ,
connect the computer and charging it , if still showing mark means
boot the phone in safemode andf recheck the battery charge

my asus zenfone 2 is not yet starting after it got a... moremethod 1
normally , after installed firmware , it takes around 30 t0 60 minutes of time to come main screen for using
method 2
press and hold volume down button + power on , press togethor , wait 2seconds , release immediately, screen goes to recovery mode , use volume buttons , scroll to wipe cache partition , and click and click ok , wairt 5 seconds , restart the phone
method 3
press and hold volume down button + power on , press togethor , wait 2seconds , release immediately, screen goes to recovery mode , use volume buttons , scroll to
wipe data/factory reset , click on , click ok , wait 5 seconds , now this devie formatted fully , switch off, connect internet sim card with memory card , switch on the phone
wait for 30 minutes , phone screen comes as new , do customize

cob, 23 Aug 2016what i realize after i read some comments here, there are a lot of newbies here of smartphones... morei knew it , if you disabled the application and suing with less workiong apps ,
whats the use of preloaded applications thats comes with from google itself
i am trying to give good ex[perience by using all aplications comes with apps , without hanging .
everyone is getting batery draining problems , this happened by fake battery or by improper software designs
i ahve already excluded many suggestions and problems to asus R and D team via customare care
i hope in next updates , many aplications will get removed fropm os , and use very les battery only, and most is , reducing the of size Installed OS from 5.20GB to less than that
still i am giving more suggestions to them
sorry for replying to you , i am not blaming you , you also one of the zenfone users
