remove the lock screen password in mobile
download android device driver from website and iall to pc
try in all usb ports
try with other computers

I am unable to download latest update release (V1.17.40.1531), i called customer care
they said download offline update from asus website of 1.57 GB
(ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser=ZE550KL (Z00L) software Image: V1.17.40.1531).
Should i try offline update??
Please suggest me.

I installed the marshmallow update today. Found no bugs yet.Performance has improved significantly.More free space available in ram compared to lolipop.No issue in battery performance or calling.Notification LED is working fine.Completely satisfied with the update.
