if still exists problems
then download APP EXTRACTION form google play store and install an d then open that app , tick all the applications except ASUS ZENUI SERVICES , and click app extraction at bottom , open file manger as internal memory , you will see all applications and move all to memory card and
then switth off , remove memory car d and sim , switch on again , check the problems again , it solved means , either memory card or sim not compatible

Hello, i have asus laser as well as max. I bought asus laser last year and max just one week ago. asus max didnt feel much in weight compared to laser. my asus max is manufactured in april 2016 and it comes with android marshmallow preinstalled so i dont have any problem with android 6.0, it also comes with usb otg cable. phone side has metallic strip and backside is good compared to laser. it has 5000mah battery which takes total 5.hrs to charge completely from 0% to 100%. so it gives very good battery backup like 2-3 days. Asus zenfone max is nice, maybe it can even get Android N update in future.

And another small problem I encountered is phone hangs a little when I open 3-4 apps. Also it shows the free RAM available is 600 mb out of 1.8GB when I dont open any apps and when I open a single lighter it consumes 100mb Ram for it. I denied many apps from auto starting in auto start manager.. But still there is no improvement in availability of Ram. Even when I check in settings--Apps, I won't see many background apps running but still don't get much RAM. Will be very grateful if u can give some tips to improve RAM AMD for the phone not getting hanging. And according to u what is the best among Asus Zenfone 2 laser and Asus Zenfone Max 2016... Thanks

2) asus mobile manager --data usage --control app data storage ---remove all ticks from allm apps in mobile data and wifi , except
a) asus zen ui services
b) android core apps
c) app manager
d) app updater
e) captive portal login and chrome
f) config updater
g) dm client
h) digital media service
i) email
j) facebook
k) google contact sync
l) google partner setup
m) internet verification service
n) media
o) pac processor
p) proxy handler
q) system UI
r) zen UI launcher
s) com.android.managedprovising
t) com.asus.sensorapi.service
above apps net connection is very important to work smooth android
and the remaining unticked apps should be tick only , if you need to connect particular app for internet
3 ) asus mobile manager -- notifications -- block all notifications , which you don't need
4) asus mobile manager -- privacy & security --scan -- do as per screen messages
5) asus mobile manager ---permissions --app permissions -- check one by one , disable each access ( be carefull )
6) asus mobile manager -- auto start manager --block all the applications from downloaded and preloaded
7) asus mobile manager --scan --super boost protect list -enable --- tick mark all apps --enable super boost
8) settings --wifi -- advanced --keep wifi on during sleep -- never
9) switch off blutooth
10) settings -- more --digital media server --on ---remove all ticks marks --- off
11) settings --display --brightness--sleep --30 seconds
12) settings --display --screen color mode -- balance mode
13) settings--sound¬ifications --also vibravibrate for calls --disable
14) settings--sound¬ifications --other sounds -- disable all
15) settings --zen motion -- disable all
16) settings - power management --power saver --power saving
17) settings ---themes -- default theme
18) settings -- location --battery saving ( optional )
19) settings ---kidsmode -- disable

but in marshmallow , 3 hours 50 minutes to 4 hours
may be your friend lies to you , its impossible with this phone, you take his phone and you charge it an d check with his charger only
2W charger does not support this phone

in marshmallow , battery draining fast , I agreed and charging time is also too late
I already esculated these problems to asus support team , they were trying to fix soon

I gt error even if I tried to update it manually. Some asdf mount error I got. Now how to solve that issue. Please some help me. Even I cleared the partition cache and formatted twice.

After updated to Marshmellow i unable to move the transferabl app to SD card due to that phone getting slow.
also it take more time after cold Reboot & battery draining fast;Charging getting more time.
most of the inbuilt apps hang there is little DIP in performance.
