After taking pictures with my Zenfone Max, I can't find the photos inside the gallery. I ended up downloading a 3rd party app just so I can view the recent photos. After Marshmallow, reviewing my recent photos has become a drag. I hope there's a fix for this soon.

naveen01, 10 Jun 2016Do a Factory data reset and make sure you backed-up everything like mp3's pdf's video's etc...... moreThanks but have finally got a better solution, from the App info, click on menu, then uninstall update, then you can update it back from play store

i am very eager to update my 2gb ram version ok asus zenfone 2 laser but i am very anxious about its performance. is it advisable to update it or wait for a stable version to be rolled out later?
also there is this no app2sd card movement. i have read about adoptable storage and internal storage concept in marshmellow. does it help in anyway in 16gb(10 gb visible in file mamager)
does it degrade performance. please provide me feedback.

After updating, gallery is working fine but after taking pics using camera, it wont show anywhere in the phone..most annoying problem is not that, it battery backup..my max phone used to giv amazing backup..but now it is hardly coming for a day..drastic drainage of battery..heavily disapointed...
Guys pls dont update to marshmellow..wait till updates rool out to fix these problems

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2016Plz helpp....keeps auto dwnloding systm update even if set off...my data pack is getin overactual file firmware size is 1047Mb , before download firmware , it needs base files to download , so 1047mb+ extra mb
may be that's not a firmware, but its downloading other apps updates via google play store ,
click goggle play store ,, on top left side , click on settings, choose do not auto update apps

AnonD-545935, 10 Jun 2016Am having the same issue, did what you wrote but gallery still not working Do a Factory data reset and make sure you backed-up everything like mp3's pdf's video's etc...
Setings-->Backup & reset-->Factory data reset
and update the gallery app from the playstore again..:)

screen lock also had changed.........
apps are not moveing to sd card........
hopeless update ever......
