this 550ml i too believe its good for gaming since its 720p ..longer battery life which is good for gaming. ill receiving my item this week and get more answers on the performances:)
Just got two of these yesterday (red for my wife, white for myself). It's a beautiful phone - actually looking better in reality than the pictures on the net. I actually prefer the ceramic finish of the plastic back of the 550 to the faux-metalic finish of the 551. Not used it much yet, but first impressions are very positive. Was a bit concerned how 720p would look on the 5.5 inch screen, but it is crisp enough for my eyes (have to look really hard to see any pixels) and nice and bright with plenty of pop. The phone is a bit heavy, but feels very comfortable in the hand because of the thin edges and rounded back. Compared to my daughter's zenfone 5, it is only slightly bigger (size is almost identical to iPhone 6 Plus) and build quality is clearly superior. Performance seems good - ui is buttery smooth and all the apps and games I have tried so far run perfectly. Did an Antutu 5 benchmark and it scored about 43,500 which beats Ascend Mate 7, Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 - so better than last year's flagship phones. Not bad for a device that cost about a third of most flagships. Oh, and one last observation - double-tap to sleep/wake is brilliant and means you hardly need to use the power button on the top, which is a little hard to press.
Yes a good phone for gaming in a reasonable price. Actually in real life the performance of intel z3560 is equavalent or better than the snapdragon 801 proc. The performance defend in its resulotion so because Asus Z550ml its a 720p obviously its perform better than a phone with snapdragon 80x in a FHD resulotion device like a Xiaomi Mi3.
geka, 09 Apr 2015is this phone is good for gaming? It should be quite good for gaming, in fact, it may be the best phone for gaming, because the GPU is quite good but the resolution is lower than other devices with high end GPUs (usually 1080p)

kuyumad, 08 Apr 2015I personally prefer Li-ion than Li-po in terms of battery life. Take for example: Zenfone 6 a... moreThats because older intel atom processors drain a lot of energy where as snapdragon inside t2 is much more energy efficient. its not about the type of battery
I personally prefer Li-ion than Li-po in terms of battery life. Take for example: Zenfone 6 and Xperia t2 ultra. Both have the same screen size, same screen resolution and same battery capacity, but zenfone 6 uses Li-po and t2 ultra uses Li-ion. Guess which one got better endurance rating?
Zenfone 6 can manage 1 to 1.5 days of moderate use, compared to t2 ultra which can manage up to 2 or even 3 days.
If you notice, majority of high-end devices today from samsung and sony xperia uses Li-ion, and both of them deliver great battery performance. I think the only reason why Asus keeps on using Li-po is because the design of Zenfones have curvy back, just like HTC. I read somewhere online that Li-po can be shaped according to the manufacturer's liking. Unlike Li-ion which can only be shaped rectangular.
