I just bought this phone around 1500hrs today. Approximately at 2150hrs while
updating the apps my screen just blackout. :((
asus zenfone 2 is waste of money. Within 3 weeks the problems started with touch sensitivity. I couldnt attend the call or disconnect. The phone is not responding even to the power button. Its not possible even to remove the battery to end the call!! i tried system restore but of no use.

What do you thin... morepls do not even consider buying Asus. In simple terms "ITS PATHETIC" and its customer service even worse. In less than 1 month after buying my display stopped responding during incoming calls. Basically i was unable to accept or reject calls. I have to restart my mobile so the touch starts responding back. I reported the issue on September 17, 2015 and yet to receive solution - twice visited the service center too. Save your money, DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP...!!!

Past one month i am facing the same problem .Mathew is the person he is not responding the mails as well the entire team .
Asus is a worst mobile which i have never seen
Please go for Samsung or Htc.The service is very good with in a week they wil resolve the issue.
My friend pavan also facing the same problem.
For replacing the part they are saying it was not delivered to service center.

I ... moreI had the same issue: At the end of the first month after I bought the Zenfone2 in Sept'1, it stopped working. When I took it to the T-Mobile store, he diagnosed it as Slot 1 could not read the SIM Card. Slot 2 was still working. I called Asus customer service and they requested to send the phone to the Asus Service Center in Indiana. It has been repaired and is on its way back to me. Will find out how good a job they did. Hope they can address the root cause.
