who says zf2 battery lasts for 5 hours?
mine lasts for 2 whole days. just install the latest updates, mate
remember that chinese phone makers like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Meizu, etc. do not have external micro-sd card support
those who die over fingerprint scanners and other fancy stuff must consider this basic fact in their calculation
ultimately, external memory card matters a lot in a phone

Just do the last updates (firmware and software) or sell it and buy the OnePlus 2.
"Snapdragon 810 v2.o has been tweaked soo no more heating issue". Problem: it doesn't exist a 810v2. It's just a tweak which decrease the performance of the CPU when it's too... hot.
"Intel is way too far from ARM architecture and it has few developers support so think twice and thrice". Totally wrong... There is no more issue with x86 vs ARM architecture except to the (very) old applications.
Could you please tell me if Asus zenfone 2 is good performace wise, quality, application, speed wise.

Anyways it's upto to u guys wat you want soo do wat is best which fits on ur preferences peace... :)
rock, 08 Jul 2015Yes Asus zenfone 2 is 299$ bt people won't hesitate to invest 100$ more for oneplus 2 coz they... moreThe Oneplus2 will be $450 and that is 50% more than ZF2. You won't be able to tell the difference between types of memory. Finger printer scanner is good, but not really needed. The audio output is reportedly much better on ZF2. I hhave read where heat issues on 810 have been addressed by throttling. I question your blanket dismissal of ZF2.
Zifnab, 08 Jul 2015OnePlus 2 will be probably better in performance than the Zenfone 2 but... Zenfone 2 (4G/32GB)... moreYes Asus zenfone 2 is 299$ bt people won't hesitate to invest 100$ more for oneplus 2 coz they get fingerprint scanner 4gb ddr4 ram compared to 4gb ddr3 ram in zenfone 2 also improved version of snapdragon 810 version 2 and metal build quality which will 1000 times ahead of Asus zenfone 2 n custom version of Android(oxygen os) which is best till date so I still strongly recommend all of you to keep calm n wait for oneplus 2..... :)
Im having problems to pair devices with my Zenfone Bluetooth because I have no idea which PIN code I need to use (It seems that one PIN code was automatically set and I cant ready mandarin to understand the manual)
Hi, I have just bought this phone 2 days ago in India - the 2.3GHz 4GB RAM and 64GB memory Silver colour model at INR 21,500 (or so).
The phone is very stylish but understated, excellent build quality. I have downloaded and updated the entire firmware from Asus's support page, and it was all very easy. I must thank Asus for posting regular updates of their firmware. Waiting for Lollipop 5.1 update soon :)
After the firmware update, there is no overheating of phone. All those who complain about overheating must try updating their firmware.
UI is silky smooth, no lag at all! There are very few, really very few, bloatware pre-installed in the phone. Camera has professional-like controls with dedicated shutter button (you can configure volume-up button for this).
Sim-1 supports 4G but Sim-2 supports only 2G.
Overall, very happy with this phone. Not only is this less pricey, but has flagship-like specs and top class support.
I have being used this phone for one month all features are good other than screen BRIGHTNESS
