Dearest friends. To be fair this zenfone 2 A fhd is one of the best high midrange zenfone smartphone and its flagship too..I don't recommend the B and C zenfone 2 as long as this good one exists!!!Hopefully gsmArena.com releases this!!!?Asus itself has no strong public relations,no care, support, upgrades, updates but just buy and go!!!Even when I tried to contact them nobody was responsible and sorry to say mails and answers were intimidating insults and now Asus wants illogical illegal confirmation from me not to write facts and I have no write to write facts writing criticism like gsmArena.com!!!They even disabled my apps to give confirmation to their illegal requests!!!If Asus is powerful and uses extrajudicial nepotism not let any have freedom of legal rights should I giveup to their illegitimate requests!!!Thanks gsmArena.com to release this, all friends to write a solution,Asus just to think logically not by imposed forces!!!All Asus ironical confusing Asus the powerful to suppress any legal objections exists!I hope facts writing gsmArena.com for not only my issue but the public interests releases this!!!?However Asus has rights to answer!!!
In the spec it is written dual standby,in the advertise it is mentioned that it is dual active .What is true.If some body is using with two sim plese guide us

It's pretty decent actually as long as you're a light to m... moreThanks for your review, but the only thing I can't agree with is your recommendation against buying it due to the battery life. If it wasn't obvious before, the particular android version it came with, i.e., 5.0 is the least stable LP version. That, coupled with some unoptimized and buggy asus/google apps, and the battery endurance will be pretty shoddy. The two main things that can help this are a) updating to the latest software (disable the stock browser too) so that you can use the new wakelock blocker feature and b) rooting it (isn't very reliable), where you can disable/uninstall the battery draining apps and use wakelock control apps.
The BEST things that would definitely help the battery issue are a) and official 5.1.x update from ASUS, b) unlocking the bootloader so that we can flash cleaner customs ROMs and c) flashing custom kernels. :) The problem is that all of these solutions aren't available yet, so that's why it's advisable for many to try and control the apps and UI as much as possible. The theorized reason why Asus didn't simply opt for 5.0.1/2 instead is because they recently started updating the Zenfone 1st gen to LP 5.0, so when it's time for another major update it'll be easier to issue it all at once for all Zenfones (which makes a lotta sense).
No android device is flawless right outta the box, that's why we have the freedom to make the device better for our needs!^^
I have the 1.8 GHz version of this. It's pretty decent actually as long as you're a light to moderate user, and it lasts for 8-10 hours. Other than text/calls, I usually listen to music and web browsing most of the time. The music listening experience is good as long as you have high quality headphones like the M50 and tweak/play with the included equalizer.
If you're a heavy user, you'll at least charge it twice a day. When I played some graphic-intensive games, the phone tends to overheat for the first 15 minutes. I saw a youtube video on how long this phone takes before it shuts off when playing intensive games continuously (e.g. Modern Combat 5), and it lasts for about 3 hours. Don't buy this phone if you'll expect two days of battery life before you need to charge.
