Hope that they wont change the first announced chipset for this handset. I havent experienced using an intel processor but I think that we'll be a kickass technology at its very affordable price.
*can anyone post here when it'll be available here in the Philippines. thanks!
Am I correct in my
understanding that Android
5.0 can only work on 64-bit
Or does Android simply
disable a bunch of features
for it to be able to run on
Bcz as per latest news asus is using old intel atom z2580 processor in 5" inch $199 variant.
AnonD-359993, 16 Feb 2015Pls any body ensure us what is going on. Every body confused after the major announcements to ... more5”inch HD screen and 2 GB of RAM. They will use MediaTek chipset which will only support 3G. No 4G support for $199.
i really dislike how the other zenfone series are in other country websites, yet there are none of the zenfone series in the US website! (-______-)
I don't said that! I said that ASUS ZenFone 2 will release in India as 3G-variant only. They will use any MediaTek chipset which do not have 4G capability!
There will be 3G-variant of the device only for India and some other countries.
silly, 16 Feb 2015Oye stupid mediatek as well now has 4g compatible chipsNo, they said that Indian variant of the device will have no 4G support and contains a MediaTek chipset. Everyone knows MediaTek has 4G support but not on every chipset, they are going to use non-4G chipset for Indians and nearby countries.
Anonymous, 16 Feb 2015His right when he said Z3560 has twice the GPU performances of S615
But both MT6752 and S61... morehi guys... Please makesure your get the intel atom-(PowerVr G6430 )version which more powerful than
snapdragon 615(adreno405) or mediatek (mali 760 mp2).
PowerVR g6430 - 136 gflops
adreno 405 - 59 gflops
760 mp2 - 82 gflops
OK so in orter words release date for phone is 9 march in Taiwan. Exactly at MWC. And give or take on month from date it will be global. Expecting this device in my hands 25 of April. Good :)
Ok so this is what I understand so far. There will be a 5.5 inch Zenfone 2 (with variants of 2/4GB RAM) and a lower end 5 inch Zenfone 2 (little is known). Then there's also the Intel/Qualcomm/Mediatek fiasco. But different sources are saying different things. What I'd really love to know is the $199 price for the 5 or 5.5 inch because this is a real deal breaker here?
if Asus does not launches its $199 version model with Intel processor and 4g connectivity please ! please do not buy this phone and Asus go to hell
Disappointed with Asus strategy. They have confused everyone first with different Processors(Mediatek,SD,Intel) now with 5 inch screen 200$ phone.
So with 200$ we will get inferior 5'inch ,720p display, without 4G Lte support device.
If this is the case then Asus please sell you device somewhere else because i'm not interested.
Do not buy zenfone 2.
Instead i am considering galaxy grand Max.
if Asus comes with Intel processor in india
take a chance otherwise no option for Asus
please everyone do not buy if it comes with snapdragon or mediatek processors we want intel processors asus ..
give intel or go to hell...comon guys asus think that indians are fool ..let us show some of our power not buying the zenfone 2 until it comes with intel based processors ..let us be united once again india..
